No, it means it's a plastic spiral holding it like a book. What this means is that the manual will lay perfectly flat when opened on any page, which, with a regular binding on a book of this page (300 pages), would not happen.
It doesn't "look" as nice as a regular binding, but it's way more convenient. And since the manual does hold a lot of useful information, that's a Good Thing.

From what I remember of my own reading, you won't chuckle when reading it. There is a little dry humor, but not that much. |
