Ooh, I always use satellites. Placing a few dozen of them, equipped with APBs, in a circular formation around a warp-point brings forth a rather neat light-show when the enemy comes through.

Guess I'll have to try out mines to see if it brings an even better result. I don't like the thought of having to continously deploy new ones, though.

Yeah it's a bit annoying, but they do straight structure damage so you don't need as many as you might think.

I've been gearing up to try out sattelites in my PBW game. I think I'll go for it.

Well, at last resort move a space yard ship to the mine field sector and then you can scrap them.
