Boy, the people at work are going to think it's weird when I go around with a can of... ah... carbonated beverage and ask them what it is. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/shock.gif

Thank you geoschmo

Could not remember what esp. that quote was from
http://www.snpp.com/ for all you simpsons fans.

Speaking of pop/soda. What is your favourite one.

I personally like Ginger ale. Esp. Vernors and PC Ginger Ale ( Loblaws brand pop ) and Grace's line of ginger beer.

But after a Pizza it has to be a cola. Pespi.

No, that is not my belief! I know better than that. 'Sides, I can't bash a nation that spawned perhaps the greatest rock band in history, Rush!

Convert to metric? Yeah, that's gonna happen! My brain thinks in Imperial (like it thinks in English)-- I see metric and I have to convert in my head to make sense of it! (Although metric is a much more comprehensible system than Imperial, I only ever used metric in the chemistry lab.)

Ponder this: Scientists already knew that matter is 98% empty space. After they figured out the structure of protons, they determined the remaining 2% is mostly made up of... well, nothing. Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor?

What have I started... lol

I have consumed just the syrup of mountain dew once. I'm not sure what happened after I cleaned out that 32 ounce cup, but I know it involved building 3 condos and a time share..... All in 20 minutes......

What ever happened to my Pepsi Clear! Where are you!

I can now officially post the results of my highly scientific poll concerning carbonated beverages.

Soda: 4
Pop: 3
Coke: 2
Canadian that wouldn't give me a straight answer: 1

Arizona is a highly confused place. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif

The "soda water" Puke describes sounds like "seltzer" to me, used in mixed drinks and by Vaudeville comedians. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif There's also the extremely nasty "tonic water", with quinine as the main flavoring, IIRC, but I don't remember that being carbonated.

Celine Dion is a French-Canadian singer who has been a huge success in the US recording industry. BTW, her musical genre is "pop". http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon10.gif

My favorite carbonated beverage is birch beer, which is similar to root beer, but nearly impossible to find around here. (Despite the names, neither of these contain alcohol.)

It's both, but not coke.

Simple enough?

How many fried eggs (AZ people http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif) do we have here, anyway?
