There is some clean up work left, but I'll get on it right away. Besides the two sets, there will be an add on pack with almost all the vehicles/mecha seen in the show so you can have what you like, or do what I do and add them all.

There also *might* be enough for a pure Macross (Macross, Macross Plus, Macross7, etc) set. There is some material for the Varatua and Meltrandi, although not enough for a full set for either of them.

I’d like to see:
Aliens
Colonial Marines
Dune
Gundam
A 50’s scifi set would be really cool, of course you’d need tech for it too!

Its just a shame there isn’t enough readily available source material for them (except the 50’s set) to get a whole set done. Maybe someone who has 3d skills could help out there.

There are lots of images available on the web (sadly I don't have the skill to process them).

Race would have organic and crystaline techs (there was a thread a few days ago showing how to generate the ".emp" for two techs).

Come to think of it, they should be ancient too.

Bucky O'Hare shipset

The Toads would have their mothership for a Baseship, and Double Bubbles for fighters.

S.P.A.C.E. only had 3 frigates in their navy, but one could extrapolate other designs.

I had an idea for an empire called the Bubba Confederacy.

Frigate is a primer-colored old Corvette with racing stripes.
Cruisers could be rusted pick-up trucks.
Battleships would be 4x4's with full gun racks and deer-spotting lights.
Space Stations are trailers. Starbases are doublewides.
Transports could be trailers still on wheels.
Carriers would be fishin' boats.
Weapons platforms would be shotguns.
Troops would be coon dogs and/or professional wrestlers.
And, of course, colony ships would be the Clampett's car from "The Beverly Hillbillies"!

'Course, I think only an American Southerner could do it justice. I've already got a racial history in mind, tho.

I would love to see a system shock/system shock 2 Shodan shipset, with the queen of malavolent AI herself in charge and a whole lot of cyberneticaly augmented/enslaved human drones such as this one: http://sshock2.com/fanworks/artwork/waitingshodan.jpg , for use as troops and pop_portraits. Computer tech would be researched early and be on every ship. Could be cool. You could go really nuts and also create a shipset based on The Many (the organic bad guys from SS2). The shipset would just be a bunch of assorted ships from the stock SEIV races with a huge organic mass growing all over them. Fun.
Also cool would be to make a few more shipsets based on the moo races. The Darlock are a very cool shipset with great AI, but I want more, dammit, more!
Anyway, I'm already amazed at some of the great shipsets which have already come out for SEIV. What a great game and what a great community supporting it.


P.S. I would definately want to play as the "Bubba Confederacy."

on a serious note though, much of the system shock art is very Gieger-esque. My favorite imagery is probably the cortex-reavers from the first game.
