A single troll is easily worth 6 normal infantry. Summoned trolls are exactly the same, so you pay 4 upkeep per turn for them. Troll Pit is a very good site, imo, since trolls cost next to no resources (1 base and 1 for furs). Troll pit is not unique, neither is Troglodyte Den. There's also a water site named Troll Pit, underwater only and lets you recruit sea trolls.
The demon summoning sites are all unique and you get 1 per turn. The Demon Gate and The Lesser Abyss (cave only) for fiends of darkness, Devils' Den for devils. There's also a couple of sites that allow summoning beast bats among the newer set (site number 570+). |
