Useful for the ones which have an HE round (e.g some 84mm Carl Gustavs in the APERS role in MBT).

Also useful for the old editions prior to me changing the code to allow HEAT to have an HE effect, too. (Check the change history section of the Game Guide). Units sometimes had a few "HE" rounds to allow potting grunts before then, now all-HEAT.

Well, the british liked to use PIATs to deal with german leave behind snipers. Tree, church tower, attic, it made no difference. Some enterprising sgt would creep forwards with the PIAT and 'sort' the sniper out.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but in the encyclopedia the accuracy for AT weapons like bazooka and panzerschreck (both at 4) is greater than that for standard infantry rifles like the Garand or Kar 98 (both at 1). Any particular reason for that? Thanks.

I believe that is because class 1 weapons work differently to other classes (they are dependant on number of folks in unit etc) A standard rifle made a class 2 weapon would have a much higher accuracy rating - in the modern USMC OoB for example a "Class 1" M16A4 / M4 ACOG #9 has an ACC of 6 (standard for modern rifles with sights) the "Class 2" version #25 has an ACC of 24.
