My guys scurry for cover when they have a man down. Their guys take 1-2 casualties and shoot back anyways. Plus, they don't seem to disperse, however badly shot up they are.

It doesn't help that two thirds of my armour bogged down in the swamps.

Using flame tanks is a good idea against any infantry heavy opponent, the Japanese especially because it will make even the bravest samurai rout. Just make sure not to have any AFVs or infantry in the the hex adjacent to the hex you are nuking.

They will almost always get stuck.
Halftracks and even jeeps i've tried them all maybe you might get a few through by playing a mouse maze thing which will drive you nuts!
Walkers only..is the best way i've found if you dare to go there.

A stuck flame tank is just as worthless as stuck cannon tank. Except if your in the mood for pillboxes:D

Depending on vision you can still use the tanks for long range support fire, they have that useful American thing called the "Ma Duce":D
