A slight boost is OK with me. I'll suggest a slight bump-up to resources, as well - that'd help Ulm compensate for the lack of bloodstones. I won't deny that Gath (another earth/blood nation, though with more magical diversity than Ulm) would benefit as well.

I don't particularly care either way as more resources and gold just means more unfriendly pachyderms :D and more gems is nice whatever nation you play

Note that default sites is 35 for Cradle. I wouldn't mind seeing 40-45.

I think it varies by map. I know some other eras do.
