shrapnel is very similar to an authoritarian regime, where any dissent from the party line is violently suppressed.

Or its very similar to a corporation that creates a forum on the Internet for a specific purpose. I have never doubted the similarity between the two. Any effort to do one without the other is just an exercise in stress. On the other hand, at least we get that subject covered in the "Forum Rules" a link which appears at the top of this and every page on the forum.

@Stagger_Lee:
I apologize for any posts I made which took your thread. Please any "moderator" delete my posts which took this thread off of its topic. I can see that my posts were blatantly biased worded, highly inflammatory, and well outside of the community expectations of the forum owners.

But yes, back on track... a link to which? A map to own and play with all of the adventurer group?
(I will work on a quicky)

Or the history of Bogus which I do find kindof interesting.
There are some public links about it.

Earth Dawn actually. And JK's character. Earth Dawn is a nice and fun game. You might find several references to ED in Dominions if you are observant, horrors being the most obvious one.

Powers and Perils is another old and good game that has inspired me through the development of dominions. I'm rather fond of the religious touch to magic in that game.

Unfortunately the bannings represented a massive shoot-self-in-foot act by Shrapnel. However since I was party to the conversations I know they kind of meant well, just showed very poor judgement.

Well, you know this isn't totally true. After this incident the forums has been mostly free of any heavy handed mod involvement. (And usually, strider posting is enough, most people get the hint ;) ).
