Re: PBW Server Problems--Take 2
My aunt lives in Pheonix, and want me to come and visit. I am used to the conditions here in the PNW, and really hate heat. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind visiting Pheonix, but as Sam Cimason (sp) said, "Pheonix is indian for JESUS CHRIST ITS HOT!"
Will send more cash in a few days. Money is deposited, then takes a few days to confirm with PayPal. Even if PBW was a pay service, I think it would do rather well. Most people could aford, 5 bucks a month for the services PBW offers. [ 24 January 2002: Message edited by: Atrocities ]</p> |

Phoenix is NOT hot right now. Relatively. I mean, it's 55 frigging degrees. That's COLD. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: PBW Server Problems--Take 2
For AZ, yes, that's cold. It only gets worse when it's raining http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
For myself I have a nice tolerence to cold. Well, except when I'm trying to get up in the morning- then it sucks. I do get funny looks when I'm running around in short sleeves and shorts; everyone else was in at least long sleeves. Phoenix-D |

Assuming no major storm front moves in, you should be fine.

Re: PBW Server Problems--Take 2
For those that are suffering sever PBW withdrawl, take a look at http://seiv.pbw.cc now. We updated the splash page so it's in the familiar, soothing, PBW color scheme. For those of you like me that were missing it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
Geoschmo P.S. The wheels are turing. Can't give you a firm eta yet, but the process is in place to get the server repaired. PBW will be back. |

You're on your own there- I'm not a weatherman http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Ours do in the UK and I can tell you that for the next week, it is going to wet and cold pretty much all over England, with localised fog in the north |
