that or you didnt wait long enough. build some sphereworlds, and even a small chunk would be strong enough to mount a good invasion. of course, your race would have to be isolated for about a hundred years or so, and 1000 turns is a long time to play the game just building up.

Tell me something here...
Even though I have played SEIII and SEIV a lot this has puzzled me.

They send a ship into my territory and frag a ship or a colony then they decide they LIKE YOU.
But you send a ship into their territory, and most AI's senda couple of ships (sometimes the whole fleet at you) and act in self defense, win the battle and go high speed outta there, even though with the patch, they eventually hate you and declair war.

What kind of a sick joke is that?!
