Fyron: the uniqueness of the set is because each ship is an individual inspiration. This is the first set that is first drawn on the paper. I am continuing it, slowly, and do have a couple of sketches done for now.

Taera MK2 never meant to replace Taera, just as an alternative. Sha'ar swarm are RP "right hand" of the Taera. Both are about two years old.

Illea... well that was an idea that passed quickly, i wont continue it, though i still like those ships.

The organic shipset... originally started just to see if i can do it, it grew to what it is now and continues to grow.

This is a role-play race of ancient beings that see all living things as worms they want to crush. They are supposed to hold area equivalent to about 1/4th of a galaxy and have unimaginable, ever-growing numbers. They dont attack a lot but when they do they burn all on their way.

I am always happy to have the Taera put in any sci-fi set or story or anything else, so feel free to do so. Same with the Organic set. All i ask is that if you do insert them in stories you follow the basic personality settings.

Re: mod - i am, actually, helping Fyron to do his mod. I dont have the patience to do a complete mod and mod with only an organic racetech is a waste of time IMO.

Replying to a thread (any thread) is enough.
To the left hand side of the box where you normally type your message, it should say "upload file form".

Make sure you don't ahve popups disabled, it uses a popup screen for the upload.

Like I say, once the file is uploaded and you've copy/pasted the URL somewhere safe you don't have to go through with the post- you can just hit the back arrow and make your way back here.

Grrrrrrrrr....are there no well-documented instructions on how to upload something? Do you need some sort of approval before you're given the option to upload something? The FAQ says "For security reasons, nothing can be attatched to a message - you'll have to provide a link to an external website." http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
But I've seen plenty of members post a link to a download whose URL includes "www.shrapnelgames.com/cgi-bin/newuploads/"...which means there has to be some way to upload files.

(Oh, and by the way...I was planning to upload Taera's '4th-edition Taera race', but compatible for non-Gold players. If the race converetd for Gold was still compatible with non-Gold SEIV...then I forgot to mention that SOTAS has a corrupt Version of Taera v4 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif ...so to make a compatible Version of Taera v4, I had to right-click on every single racial image on http://diesel2035.free.fr/hosted/taera/ , save it as a .bmp image, add the images not on that website, get rid of everything that said 'drone' in the .txt files...ugh, poor me http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif )

Dingo: To upload something you need to go to the upload forums. At the top of your screen now it should say

Intel Forums » Malfador Machinations » Space Empires: IV » Taera Hive Imperium Racestyle »

Click "Intel Forums" and then go to the scenario/mod upload forums. Begin a post somewhere in there, and you will be given an opportunity on the left of the screen to upload. Once the upload is sone, it gives the URL of your file. You don't need to complete the post to use the URL.
