I've made a similar mistake. But I caught it before I sent the fleet into battle. I just designed a new Cruiser with mine sweeper IIs and had about 10 planets building them, didn't realize they were mine layers until they reach my fleet organizing point. I *think* this applies to a known minefield. i.e. one that is tagged with a minefield marker. Can anyone confirm if a minesweeper will decloak to sweep a known minefield? or is this broken?
