I have uploaded an event file, which is part of my starfire mod (though I could not duplicate many of th e situations - I am keeping the name for now).
The mod duplicates many of the Intel projects as random events. If these are used you won't automatically know when someone is using intel on you, or you might mistakenly think they are. In several cases I decreased the population happiness by one rather than doing anything constructive (e.g. planet is scanned). 1039752259.txt P.S. A new Version of the Art of War mod. This update focuses almost entirely on "Guns or Butter" choices. Empire expansion should be somewhat slower because of it.

Here is the new Eclipse Mod download file. It has been reduced in size. Do not use the previous downloads. This new download requires the entire image mod so make sure that you have it. Sorry for the lack of readme or credits. It will be added soon.

Ultimate Strategies Mod v1.01.00
New Version! This mod makes alterations to the strategies and formations in SEIV Gold. The goal is to expand upon the strategic choices available to the player. Because formations are controlled by a data file and not changeable from within the game, this mod will allow PBW and PBEM Users to play otherwise normal games with custom formations. Sorry, but I dont know yet to post to uploads in the same message. So, this one is about the modifications I made, some original and other shamelessly copied from other mods, based in Proportions Mod. In the log file are given all the sources where the different items where taken from. Please! I will give Full credit to the authors, in case someone feels angry about this, bear in mind that its a file I changed for my exclusive personal use and for learning a little about modding this marvelous game. In any case I will take credit for what I havenīt done, nor make a "self mod" only changing some file title world. By the way: Thanks to everyone who made the different and all marvelous and ingeniously thought mods (PvK, SJ, Mephisto, and a long etc...) Really, to browse inside the txt files and little by little understanding what each one of you wanted to "model" in components and units was a very enjoyable and instructive passtime. I think I spent more time doing this, than playing the game itself! Please donīt feel abused! and keep the good work. Here are two images (the firts ones!) of the X-Com ship set for the X-Com mod. Help request: I'm using smaller Versions of the portrait images instead of true mini pics. Would someone be able to make the needed "viewed fron above" pics using this images? Or better still, can someone tell me how is it done (if it is possible)? Credits: Drone image is taken fron the X-Com Apocalypse game. Is it needed to copy the image files in a reduced (36 x 36 pixels?) size to another directory? Can it be fixed? I like to see my new components when I use them in a ship design !!!
