Are all slots still full, or has all the restarts caused some nations to be open? I'd like pangea the person playing it is no longer around.

I took Caelum, but I cannot remember what
pretender I used. I am still experimenting with
different pretenderw, and I am afraid I might have
entered something as crazy as a freak father, or
even a vampire queen, thinking that I will change
it later. Can you please boot the annonymous
players, so I can download my real pretender for
this game.

It is done.

Ermor will need to upload his pretender again and register on the server.

I guess we should open the game up to anyone now. There are still 5 or 6 slots available.

How long do you want me to wait before starting the game? I was thinking of starting it on Saturday morning with a 48 hour host time, and then switch it to 24 after the first turn.

Can you register on the server? That way if I need to kick off the anonymous players again your pretender will remain.

Just another reminder. The game will start Saturday morning with a 48 hour host time. After that I will switch it to a 24 hour host time.

There are still a few slots open if anyone else wants to join.

Only rules are no VQ and your total number of clams must be less than the turn number divided by 2.

Turn 1 has hosted with one AWOL (Pangaea)
Abysia is still anonymous on the mosehansen server.

Two points of interest. According to the mosehansen page (I'm not with a copy of Dominions so I can't check there):

1) There is only 9 minutes until the next turn; and
2) Abysia has taken his turn already (now an AI?)

EDIT: The hosting time just reverted to 1440 minutes

Man... you must have been checking that often.

I wasn't sure how the host time would be updated. When I first set it to 24 hours it reset the time, so we would have had to wait another day (or when Pangea took their turn). So I set it to 10 minutes to advance the turn, and then back to 24.

All should be good now.

Pangea is AWOL again. They are passworded so I can't set them to AI.

Sadly Abysia is AI now...

Otherwise it looks like all is good.

Feel free to offer tribute to Pythium... they are the COOLEST nation... that starts with a P... that has played their turn.

I will try to host the game when everyone but Pangea has entered their turns.

I will change the host time to 15 minutes, wait for it update, and then set it back to 24 hours.

Given the recent oddities concerning turn submissions in other games I am going to leave Orania alone (instead of forcing the hosting).

If you guys still want me to force host the game let me know, otherwise I will leave it alone and hope that we don't experience any of the problems that other games are having.

For some reason the game has been stopped. I try to restart it, and I get a message saying it has been restarted.

Then when I check the status it is still not running. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

I would surmise that somebody has uploaded a 2h in the new patch, while the Mosehansen server has not patched. Thus, The System Is Down.

That, or something is broken.

I think you are probably right about that. You can even look at the stopped games to see the Last person connected. Which was most likely the person who uploaded the turn.

If this isn't the case then please post to let us know, as that will help debug the problem.

ie.

If you have not applied the patch and are still shown as the connected person on the game detail screen on the stopped games then please inform us.

I'm taking the game up to 2.12

Make sure you apply the patch and resubmit your turns.

Just an update. I can no longer force host the turns. When ever the game is stopped and restarted all submitted turns are lost.

I've tried yet again to use the master password on Pangea but it still doesn't work. My guess is that the game must be orginally created under the new 2.12 patch for it to work.

The best bet to speed up the game at this point is to take out Pangea. They won't have anything other than their starting troops at this point. I'm sure someone must have run into them.

Like most evil gods they are bad, so they should be destroyed ASAP.

I am terribly sorry for going AWOL. My dsl modem died the day after I joined the game, I have been without net connection since. I sent my pass to maltrease, hope I wont inconvenience you more.
