I can't speak for Cain, but I have been the last man to host more then a few times in my various games. I don't know what causes it, but there can be a significant delay between uploading my turn, and the computer allowing me to reconnect to get access to the new turn. Personal time is a premium when your married with children, so unless it hosts really fast, or everyone else is alseep, I'm not waiting around for it.

I haven't found a Sub for this game, if we can push the clock back I'll get my turn in today and I'll be back sunday/monday at the latest.

Shovah - STFU. Several very recent turns other players hadn't taken their turns long after I had done so, and you didn't say an f-ing word. In fact, this turn Rlyeh staled unless I'm mistaken, as with 7 minutes until hosting the turn hadn't been taken, and they weren't connected.

actually that post wasnt a nag, that was a warning to stop you from staling. i only noticed by chance because i was checking to see if it had hosted and thought i should warn you of it for YOUR BENIFIT

Not likely :

Shovah : "yo cainehill get that turn of yours in"

Shovah : "Cainehill, why are you usually the last to play?"

Shovah : "edit: would it not make alot of sense for you to play your next turn as soon as it hosted?"

You've been complaining because the game isn't moving fast enough for yourself.

This game could go alot faster if it was set to 24h quickhost, but I think there are several here that need more flexibility because of weekends, and it's better than bugging the host (who isn't in the game anymore) to keep switching it up. But if people don't mind switching to 24, I wouldn't mind either.

Less seriously... you should try playing a 1v1 blitz vs Shovah. lol, most of the messages i sent you were pointless insults/distractions. if you cant get a moment to think then you cant play at your best can you? i wouldnt really say i stomped you though, you were starting to push back (although i was about 2 turns away from my first ice devil and i had all his equipment made already)

It's taking a long time to host, but I need that time to put all my orders in place.

Although Tauren is giving me a hell of a fight I think its likely that the game will end in three to four turns.

I'm really glad this was a modded game. Being overrun by large armies of national troops and summons, mages, and thugs is much more interesting than the usual ghost riders and doom horrors.
