Note to Monkey King; I think war has been declared on you whether you want it or not. Solar rays, paralyze, and priests are your friends.

What logical expansion spot would the biggest player choose? A corner spot perhaps?

Pangaea supports the right of Ctis to get satisfaction form bandar log, and cause the it is the time for war pangaea has also cancelled the nap with Bandar log.

We are looking forward, to get our legitimate place in the corner of the map.

Abysia is looking to trade away fire gems 1:1 for any other type of gems.

Abysia is also looking for an antimagic amulet and a pendent of luck. I can supply the base gems for forging these along with extra gems for forging payment.

Pythium is buying nature gems for 15 gold each. Paying more for bulk deals: 30 for 500 gold.

In these troubled times gold can mean the difference between having that key mage in a decisive battle or not. Do not go to war shorthanded. Buy those troops that will carry you to victory!

Pythium-a name you trust. Doing business with Nations since

Duh! What an unlucky game this is for me... Now my lab went kablooi and I can economise my meager income for a new one. Why isn't the name of that inept mage who's responsible for that mess mentioned in the message so I could drown him in the sea. Ah, well... Btw, have I mentioned that I hate those indies?

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

"OoOoOwaaHhh Hah hah screech!" howled the advisor apes as they delivered the latest news. "By Cronos! I know you can speak intelligibly so out with it!" shouted the Titan. "Hoo hoo hoo err sorry, just wanted to let you know that the horsemen are coming, something about the corner they said." "What?!" Rex groaned, "first lizards and now horsemen? By Olympus! Who has been in charge of diplomacy while I slept?"

The monkeys and apes were quick to thrust a lone trembling Bonobo before the Titans angry stare. "Sire we were assigned that duty but since it got in the way of our play, we uhh umm let the Baboons take care of it."

Rex smote his forehead with a fist knowing full well that Baboon diplomacy consisted of showing lots of teeth and saying things like "You give now! Teeth sharp!" and "Hreeehoohoohoo hUUu HuuU.."

"There is one bit of good news sire.." blurted out a Macaque. "Upon hearing that her advisor's had declared an end to our non-aggression pact Persephone instantly dropped dead of fear!"

"Dropped dead of fear?! What game are you playing? It's not the one I am in!" Rex groused. "At least our horde of Oliphants will treat the horsemen the same as they did Man's knights. Damn you Cronos, you promised me Greece! Beaches! The heights of Olympus! Instead, I get monkeys, elephants and these damned fleas!"

Peace loving monkeys! Peace! The stars foretold that this would be Bandar Log' chance to make the hall of victory!

A glance at the Hall of Fame shows Pangaea's Pretender has been vanquished. Is there a story there?

War seems to have overcome the North, while the South remains, with a couple of exceptions, peaceful.

Not only that, but upon examining the HoF, it appears Rimmner of Vanheim is a double agent, moonlighting for their ancient enemies, Jotunheim! Or vice-versa. Will this conspiracy be unearthed?

Not really, just sloppy playing, she was at tien chis capital with a dominion of -5 and then i used her to attack some indys, but i did not account for that she had only 10hp...

I assume you have the Gorgon, because no one in their right mind would take any other pretender.

I do not favor an awake gorgon. Pangaea's castle troops are tough enough to withstand any rush, so I like a dormant Gorgon, with some air magic. She can be unbeatable with some good buffs.

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

"Oh Great One! The horsemen have been repulsed with but the loss of a single life!" said the Orangutan Warmaster.
"Excellent news but We could wish for similar tidings from the lizards.." muttered the Titan.

As an added bonus my internet exploded this morning and I am forced to use friends comps till they come to fix it in a couple of days.. Good fun this especially under these circumstances.

In other news.. I think it a bit beyond the pale for 2 of the top 3 to attack at this juncture in the game so I am forced to use all the weapons available to me in order to attempt to survive.

With that in mind I encourage all can and who desire said leaders to be weakened to take action against the following targets.

The capitols of Pangea and C'tis are located at provinces 305 amd 236 respectively. C'tis has a very large army starving in province 187 (delay them and they will all get disease, it only has 30 supply) as well as another in 235. C'tis' pretender is currently located in 201, a PoD with 6 death and no other troops.

For those who think I go too far.. My capitol is located at 268..

All of this is occuring in the nw and west.

Sorry I was unable to get this info out earlier but the net was down!

vfb February 6th, 2008 01:32 AM

The Rescue of Man

The aid of C'tis was specifically requested by Man, whose capitol was besieged, unprovoked, by Bandar's traveling circus. There was nothing wrong with Bandar's invasion of Man in itself, just a wee bit of extra-curricular conquest, but we did not wish to witness Man's capitol fall, and then see Bandar's circus trainers training yet more and more elephants and circus apes. Why, Bandar might have even managed to build up an army worthy of their aggressive and belligerent diplomacy!

We are returning all provinces of Man back to their rightful owner when the fight is over.

As for Pan ... Man may have spoken to them too. Of this, we are unaware. But when the conquest of Bandar is finished, and the last monkey barbequed, C'tis would fear to hold all of Bandar's provinces. For others would see what would be our huge tracts of land, and the seed of envy lives in all men's hearts. In order that C'tis may live within our means, we invited our northernly neighbors to share in the spoils of Bandar's lands.

C'tis

Well, we found the elephant meat to be a little gamey, so we just fed that to our Slaves and Runners. The hibachi was still burning, and there were all those little Markatas scattered about the battlefield, and it was a really small province with not very much supply, so we were kind of hungry ... ... delicious ! Now we can't wait to try some fried White One. With maybe a little Trampled Atavi on the side.

Bandar, we are sending you some just to make sure you're all a little on the plump side by the time we arrive at your capitol.

"Sire! We have modest success to report. Although the enemy in the south did not act as predicted we have slain half of the army that was there." spoke the warmaster. "The tale in the north is gloomier however," proclaimed Rex "they have reached the capitols outlying provinces. All is not poor news however as we have also entered into the lizards outlying capitol regions and the appropriate orders have been issued.."

Just then a harried looking messenger rushed into the audience hall. "Tien Chi has declared war as well!" spake the messenger. "What the..?! Aren't they dead? We have never even met them!" Silly AI..

In other news.. Cox cable it seems had randomly decided to unplug my cable at the telephone pole. Lords know why but all is fixed. Game on!

Velusion, fyi, you have no working link to the map. typically those are posted on the 1st page of the thread. There is a link buried in the middle of the thread, but my computer cannot connect to that link.

Velusion February 11th, 2008 03:56 PM

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

I can access this link (just cut and past it into a browser). from work, home and from relatives.

I'm not sure what else to tell you.

Xietor February 11th, 2008 04:01 PM

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

Well i can still download from mediafire.com. That is a free hosting site.

Can you post the rga map file there?

Not being a techno person, i have no clue why i cannot even connect to those links. I can connect to the game just fine too, but it crashes when i try to download the map. shrug.

I am going to find a sub. If you could put the map link in the 1st thread Velusion, it will make it easier for my sub, and any subsequent subs to get everything they need in one spot.

Bah, this game has been hit by the syncinfo bug too! If you start up the game and connect to the server, it will get stuck at the "Waiting for Info" screen.

This is a problem that has popped up before in several network games.

You can try playing windowed instead of full screen. Start the game and connect, and get stuck on "Getting game info".

Do not close the window!

Start another instance of the game in a new window. This new instance of the game should connect okay.
