Oh man . . . I too just had a MOST unfortunate encounter with a group of knights. That after innumerable mistakes and my closest ally accidentally killing my pretender.. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Eriu had the audacity to declare war on Agartha, who will now spend all her powers to ensure Eriu's destruction.

If you have boarders with the treacherous Eriu, we now warn you of their tricks and urge you to patrol your boarders lest you be set upon by a nation of sneak thieves and cowards.

New from the Front!

Milnius surveyed the carnage of the battlefield towering over the cowardly chickens and squid that lay at his feet.

It turns out that that he had had time to develop a taste for sushi after all. And squid really were the 'chicken of the sea'. At least the lizards didn't sign treaties.

Scouts reported the impending arrival of banelords from the east. Today was as good a day to die as any...

Squinting at the greater vastness - his last thoughts were... "I wonder if it tastes like chicken too........"
the taste of blood in his mouth....

I should say sorry, if missed a turn of nap/ I warried you than waited and attaked only this turn/

We met in a combat 2or3 turns before my attack and have no treaty since then.

And besides study magic better. It can be useful in recognising spell used against youself http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smirk.gif

Re: New MA game

Myself hmm? None of my guys were hit with anything, and I forgot to move my mages forward so the dumb AI decided to cast worthless buff spells instead of what I had scripted.

But now that's fixed, please be attacking me some more.

chrispedersen June 28th, 2008 07:27 PM

Re: New from the Front!

Certainly.

A nap +3 means there are 3 turns of peace after notification. There should be two turns more of peace.

It really doesn't matter for the nation of ashdod - but it would certainly redeem the honor of the squid peoples.

I would also stop mouthing bits about 'vile calumny' = )

.. the giants of ashdod.

I sense a dirty little spy plotting from the dark, It doesn't seem to be from the south continent but rather from the north-east one, what business has he in the Empire of C'tis?

tgbob June 29th, 2008 07:56 PM

Re: New from the Front!

Getting rolled hard, oh well. Not a lot MA Agartha is capable of except dying.

For those wondering, Eriu is using E9N4 blessed thugs that are scripted for mist form and air shield and are currently sporting vine shields and frost brands.

I think his capital is at 212? I forgot the message exact I sent to Tien Ch'i.

Edit: The capital is 189?

Apparently I'm not part of the game anymore. Is it possible I set myself to AI? I don't know http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif That's sad.

Sorry to see that anticipatient!

Had some hard luck and all with the stale turn and then your pretender dying, http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif and now AI'd!

Never seen that before..

anticipatient June 30th, 2008 01:33 AM

Re: New from the Front!

I think I must've done it on accident . . . I don't know how, though, 'cause it gives you a warning when you do that, right? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif/

Despite the bad luck (which was mostly my fault), I was having lots of fun. I wish the best of luck to my neighbors! In particular, I hope Arcosephale gets a bit of free real estate from the deal. Or better yet, maybe Ashdod can find a second life.

Yes, it comes up with a prompt and says:
"this operation is irreversible. Are you sure?"

Could it be anything to do with being the admin of the game maybe..?
Well, anyway look forward to another game with you.
Cheers mate.

Mictlan wtb dwarven hammers, earth boots and death boosters. We can offer air boosters/items, frost brands or any type of gems for exchange.

C'tis Changing water and fire and some earth gems for death gems, also looking to buy dwarven hammer.

chrispedersen July 3rd, 2008 11:17 AM

Re: New from the Front!

Ctis needs death gems, since he is consuming them rapidly in his fight against me.

Good gentles, there is no reason to aid his plans - let him bleed out on those giantish shores. Every ctissian I kill, every horde is one fewer that you will have to face.

He has brought 19 marshmasters - and better - against me. Mages that could have been home researching. Let them bleed out good gentles....

Executor July 3rd, 2008 01:37 PM

Re: New from the Front!

You seem to have a tendency of exadurating things.
There are plenty mages researching back home don't you worry about me.
And so far I'm not the one whose bleeding.
And if you need to know, those gems aren't intended for battles, I have plenty of those on my mages, but for forging thus the forge hammer I also need.

Once again I ask if someone needs earth, fire or water gems in return for death gems, PM me, and also the forge hammer.

chrispedersen July 3rd, 2008 02:00 PM

Re: New from the Front!

Oh, I will readily admit I'm bleeding more =). As for exagerating - I will happily take a screen shot of our next combat and post it here. Feel free to hold back on my account = ).

And what a combat it was!!!
For a moment there I thought I was gonna lose.
I guess you were right about steel ovens, that makes me regret this a little considering the circumstances.

alhorro July 4th, 2008 05:58 AM

Re: New from the Front!

Our scouts were totally confused with this battle. The Ashgod thug did not troubled himself with equipping a Robe of Shadows, and was disgracefully slaughtered by longdead meatshield, otherwise he was to win the battle.

As for our trade proposal, it's your last opportunity to make a profitable transaction at this month, otherwise we have to empower our mages. We are surprised that nobody has been interested in selling such common items as earth boots or skull staffs yet.

Let it be known that the Empire of C'tis is from this moment on in war with the cowardly T'ien S'hi.

With no prior contact, no hostile intension's of any kind towards them and not even the whereabouts of their Nation, we were cowardly struck by pesky little birds. Any enemy of T'ien S'hi is a friend of my, contact me for support and information if needed.

It looks like we have synchronization problems for some reason. My scout observed a battle this turn, where Agartha broke the Eriu's siege and soulslayed Eriu goddess. And in the same time the same goddess cast a global. Wtf?
