It appears that Machaka has gone AI, and Shin and Ryleh are staling. Would anyone else be interested in just calling this game a draw?

I'll certainly play it to the end if there are enough people willing to continue (and a sub can be found for at Shinuyama at least). But after losing so many people, I'd rather move onto another game than continue with those two as AI.

We should be able to find replacements for both Shinuyama and Ryleh... they are both in really good/decent positions respectively. Machaka was essentially gone, it was just a question of whether C'tis or Man finished them off.

I am enjoying the game and would like to continue.

Soon the might and wisdom of Ashdod will be but a memory. The world may plunge into an everlasting darkness - not the meager sort of darkness that is so easily banished by the sun or by a dispelling ritual, but the darkness that is the utter lack of enlightenment. The Throne Of Heaven, rightfully ours, shall bear the unholy weight of a false god.

And yet, there is still a small spark of hope - though we will fall soon, some small measure of our ideals may carry on. The world may yet remember that righteousness can only derive from Truth, and Truth can only be found through enlightened wisdom, and enlightened wisdom can only be achieved by devouring the brains of sentient beings.

Looking upon the world, the only other nation we find to share any of our ideals is R'leyh (where I wait, dreaming). Thus we have sent on a small package containing our most valuable liquid assets there, at least those not needed in our final few months. We hope that the nation of R'leyh benefits thereby, and goes on to bring some measure of grace from beyond the stars to the Throne of Heaven.

Man has been forced to stop NAP3 treaty with TC and Abysia. This does not mean they will necessarily attack either of them right after turn 52, just because they fear that some of them will get an overwhelming lead soon and Man should be ready to join a mass-alliance.

The status page on llamaserver appears to be broken. It looks like the game hosted fine, and the e-mail looks like it has the correct date for the next turn. I'll postpone hosting a little bit, just in case, but for now go by the email message:

Sorry everyone. It looks like there was some kind of bug when the game hosted.

Rather than roll back and take the chance someone forgets to delete the old .2h file, I propose we just continue with the turn where everyone staled.

Sorry, but I prefer a rollback.
Someone is instilling 90 unrests/turn in my capital, and with a staled turn I will lose further more time to eliminate the spies before I can recruit mages once again.

Maybe we should make a small vote?

A similar crash happened in another game I was in recently. We just continued and didn't experience any more issues after that, so I'm hopeful it's the same case here.

I am checking with Llamabeast just to get the associated files for the bad turn just in case the developers have a chance to look at it. Perhaps it will prevent future games from having the same problem.

As C'tis I'm afraid within the next few days (ie before 7 February) I will need to begin looking for a sub, as I am leaving for a month. I'm in a fairly wealthy position with large numbers of gems and a great deal of strategic freedom. If you know anyone who would like to play MA Ctis we should probably begin making that changeover soon.

I am also voting for TC. Not too many players are left and ready to team up against him.

The crash has ruined much of my funs(I was even trying charming his spies using paralyze+boots of quickness+move+charm), but I enjoy the game nevertheless.

Just be curious: has TC also gotten the last air queen?

Yeah, Pyth was just starting to have some fun too with the five amigos. And some good fights with Abysia. But these glitches are killing it and looks like TC has a pretty insurmountable lead especially since, contrary to his suspicions, I know of no united front to stop his war machine.

I was running short of gems, and thus losted the chance. I guessed someone had used Faery Queen plus extra boosters to reach A5, and remembered TC could use Hulijing to reach N5 for Faery Queens.

So since the game is now officially settled, has anyone else interests in sharing the last turns save? (.2h/.trn for turn 60)

Keep in mind, Pyth was almost destroyed - we lost our capital early to Ashdod and had to re-take it so we were pretty stunted this game. But actually had hopes of embarking on some major raiding to regain some gem income and become more of a threat.

Anyway, there is a very cool battle to watch in this turn file at Thatagu. See you guys in another game!

I knew I should have split up all those commanders with bows, or put them in a lab. I wasn't quite sure if you would attack yet or not.

Yeah, I was meanwhile trying to get over your King of Magma by intercepting him with the dimensional Rod.

For the Siege of Pangaea, I thought you will storm the castle at that turn, and after most mages are dead after 2 Rain of Stones, chances are Ulm could even stop the storm one time. And next turn I will use darkness +demons+Foul Vapors+ minor mages summoning phantasmal warriors to defeat the rest unints without leaders and formation. Even if you send reinforcement of thugs/SCs, I thought my only anti-thug wielding dimonsional rod will rock.

This game was also a good lesson for me. I should have ignored some unique items and gone to help shinuyama more early, then we will have a bigger chance of stopping you.:)

Strangely, both turns that failed on llamaserver hosted successfully when I manually attempted to run them at home.

Perhaps it's an OS specific issue? I'll check later tonight to see if someone running Dom on linux gets that error. (I think that's what llamaserver uses).
