The mighty Ermorian pretender Democratic Centralist has been submitted, and looks forward to oppressing the masses in the way that they would want if only they properly understood what was good for them.
Nine down, one to go - game should be starting soon :) |

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
For some reason, I've set hosting to 24 hours, but it is showing the due date as 48 hours... weird.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
This is a very sad starting location for me, but I'll try to make it work!
Hmm, maybe try setting it again for only 24 hours? I dunno I have no experience in admining |

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Llama server gives extra time for the first turn.. because it's the first turn and you don't know when random person X is going to submit their pretender and kick off the game.
It will go to 24 hours after the first turn :) |

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Damnit! I put 205 into the elephants =/
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Only third place for my bid? Maybe I should not have recruited so much Elephants on my own....
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
You and me, we don't really need those mercs anyway!
Arcoscephale and Bandar, Elephant bros for life. |

Hey sorry but work sprung a two day trip on me at the last minute. I will be away for tomorrow and the day after so if I could have a 24h extension that would be great.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
I'd be fine with the extention
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Tien Chi,
You should consider hiring the "Blind Company", elite cold-blooded cave creatures with enough precision to succesfully hit an elephant stuck in a cave almost half of the time. Special price to you my friend! :D ;) |

Hmm seems Saros (Vanheim) that wanted the extension already put in his turn. The other two finish up and then extend it again 24h. That way we all get a new turn without anyone staling or waiting another day.

Sephorin you have a PM.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
What news, fellow pretenders?
I can confirm that Ermor continues to coexist with all, and poses no threat to anyone. Nope, nothing happening here people. |
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Sent a PM to Korwin.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Sent a PM to Saros.

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Let me say this, I hate druid indies. In any normal army, it wouldn't be an issue. But in tiny armies made specifically to kill indies. When that damnable indie commander starts spamming sleep... Ugh, there goes one expansion party. But it's okay. PREPARE THE HOPLITES FOR BATTLEEEEE! |
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Wait to meet Air 2 + Water 2 mages, like it happened to me last turn: lightning bolts, 1 quickened War Minotaur... on your expansion army who expected just 30 militia and slingers!
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Sopita, you have a PM.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
adder83, you have a PM. Answer it, or PERISH.
|
Wow, Vanheim and Ermor are all over each other like a nasty rash, and its really not working out well for either of us. Our expansion parties have now run into each other THREE TIMES :hurt:
(And to make matters worse, through some fluke of timing in all three occassions I've arrived first, had to fight the bloody indies, then gone head to head with my neighbors from Vanheim - curse you, fate!) Saros, I'll PM you later today, keen to cut a deal that doesn't result in us death spiraling while everyone else streaks ahead. What's the ratio of provinces to nations on this map? Wondering if Saros and I are unlucky, or if this is going to be happening a lot. |
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
I think its like 19-20 provinces apiece. I sent PM about my expansion direction but the forum seems to have eaten them =/
[e] 221 land 22 water provinces with 10 people. |

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Hey, guys. I woke up this morning to do my turn and realized I couldn't get out of bed. I'm pretty sick, so I've delayed hosting by 24 hours. Chances are I'll still manage to get it in today if I feel better later on, but I put a delay in there just to make sure I don't accidentally sleep through the deadline and stale.
|
Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL
Alright, I managed to squeeze out my turn.
