The mighty Ermorian pretender Democratic Centralist has been submitted, and looks forward to oppressing the masses in the way that they would want if only they properly understood what was good for them.

Nine down, one to go - game should be starting soon :)

Monkeys find it suspicious, that the caves are empty/abandonned.
Did the Aghartan pretender flee before the bid to godhood could even start?

For some reason, I've set hosting to 24 hours, but it is showing the due date as 48 hours... weird.

This is a very sad starting location for me, but I'll try to make it work!

Hmm, maybe try setting it again for only 24 hours? I dunno I have no experience in admining

Yeah, I just subbed five turns as Ashod for a buddy while he was incommunicado on leave, my word but they are a powerful nation!

Now MA Ermor, on the other hand, are kind of luck cute friendly fluffy bunnies. :)

Llama server gives extra time for the first turn.. because it's the first turn and you don't know when random person X is going to submit their pretender and kick off the game.

It will go to 24 hours after the first turn :)

Figures my 120 bid wasn't gonna do anything haha.
Also: You'd better give me obscuro later, he's pretty important to my plans... Don't make me steal him!

And Ashdod is already at the top of the hall of fame. Who'd have guessed THAT'D happen?

Yes, my Ashdod giant is at the top of the hall of fame with Enhanced Precision, which we all know is the most useful of all traits for melee combat. :smirk:

Tien Chi,

You should consider hiring the "Blind Company", elite cold-blooded cave creatures with enough precision to succesfully hit an elephant stuck in a cave almost half of the time.

Special price to you my friend! :D

Hmm seems Saros (Vanheim) that wanted the extension already put in his turn. The other two finish up and then extend it again 24h. That way we all get a new turn without anyone staling or waiting another day.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Let me say this, I hate druid indies. In any normal army, it wouldn't be an issue. But in tiny armies made specifically to kill indies. When that damnable indie commander starts spamming sleep... Ugh, there goes one expansion party.

But it's okay. PREPARE THE HOPLITES FOR BATTLEEEEE!

Wait to meet Air 2 + Water 2 mages, like it happened to me last turn: lightning bolts, 1 quickened War Minotaur... on your expansion army who expected just 30 militia and slingers!

adder83, you have a PM. Answer it, or PERISH.

jimbojones1971 January 19th, 2011 05:31 PM

Wow, Vanheim and Ermor are all over each other like a nasty rash, and its really not working out well for either of us. Our expansion parties have now run into each other THREE TIMES :hurt:

(And to make matters worse, through some fluke of timing in all three occassions I've arrived first, had to fight the bloody indies, then gone head to head with my neighbors from Vanheim - curse you, fate!)

Saros, I'll PM you later today, keen to cut a deal that doesn't result in us death spiraling while everyone else streaks ahead.

What's the ratio of provinces to nations on this map? Wondering if Saros and I are unlucky, or if this is going to be happening a lot.

Saros January 19th, 2011 05:45 PM

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL

I think its like 19-20 provinces apiece. I sent PM about my expansion direction but the forum seems to have eaten them =/

[e] 221 land 22 water provinces with 10 people.

Ouch. On the plus side, there should be some decent recruitables there hopefully, once you've won?

Hey, guys. I woke up this morning to do my turn and realized I couldn't get out of bed. I'm pretty sick, so I've delayed hosting by 24 hours. Chances are I'll still manage to get it in today if I feel better later on, but I put a delay in there just to make sure I don't accidentally sleep through the deadline and stale.
