I am going to request a move to 36 hour turns if possible. I've been having sporadic house guests which make 24 hour turns difficult on the weekends.

COuld we get an extension for pythium? Truman has been out doing ROTC stuff (i think he killed Bin Ladin) so he's not been around to do turns. Hopefully once he's done learning how to be a army guy he can get back to DOm

Hopefully whatever RL things the admin has will be solved soon, as this is turning out to be a fairly interesting game. Do you have any update on that, Executor?

exec is staling out in all his games, but is adding time for himself in this one. i dont know why he hasnt bothered to post anything since he can clearly get online to extend the turns. maybe he has someone doing it for him.

We've started back up, but there have been a few stales (Pythium, R'lyeh, and Haida Gwaii).

Is anyone having trouble with the new patch and mods? Llamabeast emailed out links to updated versions of the mods which were incompatible (CBM).

Hello everyone, sorry I vanished as I did a while back, it rather was unexpected.

Leave it to a government firm to make a 5 minute job into a two months torture, and than finally after pulling strings (cause you can't get a straight answer) be told that the job won't be done due to technical difficulties which they actually caused, and illegally as it seems too...

Anyway, I did give Psycho the admin code to the game as a precaution so I hope there wasn't much trouble on my behalf.

Psycho gave Haida Gwaii back to me now, however I'll add a 24h delay on the current turn for me as it hosts at around 12h roughly, hope that's ok.

I'll be gone for the rest of July on summer vacation. I've posted a thread asking for a temporary sub (I'd ask Executor to run my turns as the admin, but he is my neighbor!). If I can't find a sub I'll post with more information - in the worst case scenario a few stales would not bother me overmuch, unless mysterious wankers take my vacation notice as an invasion sign (but the people in this game are a decent bunch).

Nice battle, although not sure why you used the forbidden light there Priesty?

I've been meaning to look for a Rlyeh sub but haven't had much time for that the last few days.
Attackdrone, I can try to recruit someone to sub for you as well while I'm hunting for a Rlyeh sub if you'd like?
In the worst case scenario it would probably be better to delay the game so you don't stale, as those are extremely hurtful at this point.

It seems Al Nadims current turn is in so I won't delay the game, I've also found someone to put Rlyeh AI as I've been unable to find a sub, the nation was password protected but luckily the master password worked.

Bloody perfect, so are you guys up for a roll back or do we soldier on ignore the stale?

If we do rollback remember you must delete your previous turn file, download the last turn again and play the turn all over again. Using the old turn file or not deleting it will cause the game to crash again.

Did everyone get a stale? I know I turned in my turn (the save game shows a stale but the llamaserver data says we all turned in our turns).

Last turn was somewhat critical for me, so I'd vote to roll it back. However, if we're not even sure whether or not it can be avoided, well...it might not be worth it. I'll go with whatever the consensus is.

Yes everyone got a stale turn.

Well, there's no promise the next turn won't crash too I guess, might be a mod game thing. I don't think rehosting can do more damage, Llamaserer saves turns so I presume they can be reused or... something. Llama should know.

NaivePhilosopher votes for roll back, and seeing how I have 4 stales already I wouldn't mind a rollback myself. And in this case no one can take advantage with the roll back as all of us staled, so no dilemma on that part.

So, attackdrone, GFSL, do you feel like rolling back or do we continue?

Yes, it's hosting now.
It wasn't just this game, there ware a few others as well, they didn't seem to host until all turns were in for some reason.
Every time instead of hosting Llamaserver seemed to delay the game again, but it's all good now, or not depending on if you were the one not sending the turn in. :)

Yeah, it was all very odd. It waited to be odd until I was on holiday as always. When I got back I couldn't log in to it so I just rebooted and it *seems* to be fine. Mysterious.
