I have shared my experience on this on your post :)

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Wow. Really went AI on that. Gotta say, IMO, that's pretty damn weak :hurt:

EndymionAsleep, here's your quote: "this is my first game, so try not to laugh too much as I fall to pieces once the tiniest amount of pressure is placed on me".

Well, it happened. And after you'd put up a pretty good fight. So why didn't you suck it up then? Absolute rubbish behavior. Way to reinforce the notion that noobs are wishy-washy and can't be trusted.

You'll likely create another ID, and go on to muck up another game. Meanwhile, I foreswear to never join another game (and thus probably give up subbing all together) in where I do not previously know all the players in advance.

Bravo. Well done.

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

OK, I'm squeezing off one last turn. But then I'll be gone until late the 27th. Please adjust the game clock accordingly.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays

Bullock December 23rd, 2011 07:42 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

From now until the end of December there is no timer, but quickhost is on, to avoid stalls during holidays.
Try to play as usual if you can!

Happy Christmas to all ! :)

I m trading any kind of gems, but astral, for some D gems.

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Can someone who is neighbouring these giants stop them from aging my mages? Bogarus? Your army is mighty and vast - can you not put an end to this suffering?

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Feel free to try. I have been planning this move for ages now. As soon as I saw the massed armies moving towards my borders.

Any invaders of my cap will die in seas of frost and blood!

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

That does remind me of what Dr. Strangelove said... "ze whole point of the doomsday device is lost if nobody knows you have it... why you didn't tell zee world!"

Bullock December 31st, 2011 09:38 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

i ve set back the 36h turn length with 72h for the next turn.

Soyweiser January 2nd, 2012 08:38 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Somehow I constantly do not get my turn... tried resend twice already.

Edit:

Got the turn. And I survived! Booyaah!

Of course I set all my scouts to mass attack because I didn't think I would survive. (Take the unrest hit dreadful enemies of mine! Whee, one scout also killed a necromancer :D You are all going down with me!).

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Like Soy said Llama's server has some problem sending turn, so most of us will have to request his turn.

I'm having computer issues, could I please have a 24h extension?

Bullock January 3rd, 2012 07:45 PM

Sure, it's done.

Thx for the game Soy !

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Yeah, I died... I wanted to cast master enslave but sadly, the mage set to cast that got blasted to death before he could cast it.

Thanks for the game. Sorry I sucked so much.

TwoBits January 5th, 2012 10:50 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Can I get an extra 12 hours added to the clock?

BTW, way to game it out to the very end Soyweiser! Folks like you are a pleasure to play against :)

Aaaah i don't want to finish dogpiled by the 2 majors power of the game.
It has been so hard to survive to finish like that !

who really want to take my dead lands for HEAVY loss ;) ?
maybe it s time to betray each other and i can rally one of you !

Cheers

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Damn, Ossa disappeared and its very problematic in this game.
i was expecting a nice fight before we let you two (boga & Ulm) solve your count.

Since it would be a big waste of fun to let Ossa stall, i propose we put the game on hold for few days hopefully he will come back.

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

I'm fine with that. What's Marignon been up to lately? Haven't heard a peep out of him in like 20 turns.

Bullock January 21st, 2012 07:22 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Well i m trying to find some1 to turn him AI (or subbing...)
Won't change much to the incoming result anyway ;)

Bullock January 21st, 2012 01:21 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

And welcome to snark who is subbing Marignon !

dojango January 21st, 2012 02:05 PM

hey snark. thanks for subbing.

He told me he couldn't post here, dunno why. However he can send PM

Yep, much thanks to snark!

Bullock January 23rd, 2012 07:48 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Stark i granted you another 48h extension. Do you have any troubles with your turn ?

Bullock January 25th, 2012 03:11 PM

24h extension requested by stark.

Another 24h for Snark.

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

C'tis has staled twice...

Bullock February 2nd, 2012 09:55 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

should i put him AI or you want to try to find a sub ?

TwoBits February 2nd, 2012 10:57 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Hm, there's not much left to C'tis. If the current player can't be found, it's probably not worth finding a sub. Since we're already fighting, we can just fight over C'tis as well :D

Oh, and can I get some extra time added to the clock? Thanks!

BTW, are we still on a 36 hour clock? Any chance of getting it changed to 48, or 56 or something? What do the remaining players thing?

Bullock February 3rd, 2012 12:47 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

i postponed the turn for 24h. Beside 2bits does some1 else want a timer increase ?

Bullock February 3rd, 2012 01:16 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

turn length switched to 48h as requested by 2bits & Snark.

reminder: for some odd reasons Snark cannot post here.

dojango February 3rd, 2012 01:28 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

sounds good, just set c'tis AI if he doesn't show up in a day or three.

Hylobius February 4th, 2012 12:17 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Sorry guys, I had the flu for a couple of days. I just opened up my email to send my turn in and received the change of address form from llama. Isn't it considered good form to try and contact a player before removing him?

I don't know if you set me AI or got a sub. Llama is still listing C'tis as player run so I guess I won't send this turn in.

Bullock February 4th, 2012 12:24 PM

Send me your mail by pm i ll change.

No i think the good form is to warn other when you can't play.
Since you were not able to post here to let us know what was happening you shouldn't be able either to answer PM, so i don't see the point.
Beside, your nation is getting eaten and unfortunately it's quite common to see people vanishing in such situation.

Send me your mail by pm i will set it back.

Hylobius February 4th, 2012 06:36 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

PM sent.

The point is that I frequently check my email to look for turns and PMs, and I infrequently check the forums of the various games that I play.

Besides I thought it was you that was being eaten ;)

Is the server working again? I have been asking for a resend for a couple of days.

For some odds reasons scoregraph is enabled on the llamapage.
Figures are very interesting !

Weird. Some interesting stuff.

Bullock February 15th, 2012 11:04 AM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Since nobody has played his turn ~6h before the deadline i switched the game to 72h. I think nobody will complain (you can though)

Bullock February 29th, 2012 09:05 PM

Re: Dreadful fates II - (Running)

Well well well.
It seems the 2 mighty nations managed to beat the 2 small peaceful farming nations. Congratulations ! :)

Thanks everybody for this nice game.
I will send the admin password by PM to twobits & Dojango.

Why, why did I think it was a good idea to cast phoenix pyre in a communion?

Oh well. Good game, Bullock. I'm surprised you didn't cover the world in unholy darkness. Maybe next time.

Yeah, it's been an interesting experience subbing in for Ulm. I never would have gone the route the original player sent them on, but it's actually worked out pretty well.

And it's the first time I've played MP with Ashen Ermor. Wow, going on the offensive against them is real trench warfare, what with all the hordes, forts, starvation, etc.. It's been fun! Thanks for the experience!
