<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, I just got it in time. I scrambled to study ships and PPB after that...as you can see, I got to LC with PPB 2's before they had to rush off to war.

When I missed that turn, the dumb AI moved all my fighters away from the warp holes I need to guard. In the south, it just so happens "Weed Boy" came through with 17 ships right after they got back in place but were out of fuel. So, he took a few losses but made it through the hole. Talk about scrambling! These days, I keep about 6 ships down there and he sends 3 or 4 ships through every turn. Needless to say, I'm getting a well-trained fleet down there. Since he lost so many ships, he bomards me with treaty offers every 2 turns. Usually something about needing to "share the light"... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Darn "flower childrem" south of me! Loading their ships with armor after armor of 150kt of damage absorbtion. Takes forever to kill one of their ships.

Taking Slynkyland was desparation. I knew they would never survive going back through Deadness so I chanced the black hole.
Those ships made it throgh the black hole of "Steve is Badenough" and arrived with one turn with supplys left.

I just did the math. If I threw 1/2 my fleet through the warp point at Paradice i would still lose.

Paradise should be anything but a paradise after the battle with yor 72 ships. I'll subtract 20 (or so) ships due to them being support. So, call it 52 ships. Against my 18 and satellites. There are more satellites there, though.

One weird turn of events...I was lucky to check the "stack" as I saw your fleet building and noticed I didn't have a talisman on board. They couldn't have hit a turd in a punchbowl. But now, it's there. I figure my satellites can kill 7-8 ships per combat round.

It should be a good fight.

Battleships are in the yards, though!

Yep, winner for today was one of our own IT staff. She called about being unable to see the domain. So, we ran through all the IP address (DNS, WINS, default gateway, etc.). Finally, I asked if she had the LAN cable plugged in. I guess you know the answer to that!

Well, you don't have 70 "Expendables" in one location. They are split up. So, in that case, I think I can.

But, not if they were all in the same location at once! That's a sure thing. And remember, your missiles can't take out satellites. So, you'll be losing those destroyers quickly.

I have no intention of going through your sat guarded warp points. That is why I sent Capt Hapless through. Well, actuly he did not voluter so we rewired his navagation equipment. You should have heard his Last words....

I expect if I can support that many ships I must have quite the installed research base. hmmmm....

BTW: What's up with that Suicide Captain. Do all of your scouts go around attacking a fleet of 70 ships?????!!! What did he do at the imperial court to draw that mission?? Was he caught messing with the admerals daughter?

I'm at work now, so I don't remember exactly. But I got mixed up and submitted for the wrong game turn and when I got my turn back, it was a disaster. Wondering if you could reset it to run back a turn so I could upload the new player file (done from the correct turn number).

Ok, I set the game back a turn. I highly suggest that each of you download the turn currently available on the site and play it fresh rather then trying to upload a .plr file you already have on your machine. It's easy to get confused about which turn it is and end up uploading a wrong turn again if you don't.
