I don't see why not, it's not on PBW.
The link to the web site is in StoneMills sig, where you can download the turn file.

Re: Tournament - Invulnerable Challenge

Question StoneMill?
I can see a Warp point from "Phad" leading to "Asellus Tertius" but where is the warp point leading back?
Was this intentional to have a one-way Warp Point?

Update:- Star Date 2408.3
Just captured my first SpaceSharks planet. They hadn't launched their Satellites from Cargo.
The SpaceSharks have pleasingly allowed me to colonise 2/3rds of the Galaxy. Now to box them in...

Edit :- Their also seems to be a one-way Warp Point from "Gamma Triangulil" to "Hercules"

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep... Just a little havoc I threw into the map. I also didn't want the AI to bust out and slaughter you without giving you a chance. BTW, please post stuff like this in "Spoilers." http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Enjoy, fellas!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">LOL!!!

You must have some serious intuition my friend... "Pebbles" (from the Flintstones) is quite accurate!

Details to follow!

Now that my little girl Sophie (Pebbles) has finally settled in at home... I had a few minutes to update the Tourney page. I think I have everyone's info so far. Please keep me advised of your updates...
Stop the Sharks before it's too late...

Well I am at 2412.1 and just made a sphere world, with another right behind it. I have the Sharks backed up. But as I am still new I have no idea if my stratgy will work or not, we shall see... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Just wanted to announce that I have started the challenge today. Still no contact with the Sharks, though.

Re: Tournament - Invulnerable Challenge

Just wanted to let you know, the tourney page has been updated again...

Please let me know your start date if I don't have it covered.

No "official" winners as of yet but BBegemott has successfully dismantled the defense. SO there is hope.

In the spoilers thread, lots of curses and setbacks!!! Surprisingly strong aggressiveness by the SpaceSharks in some games. Also, many players putting together the puzzle...

It's not too late to give it a try. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Welcome Atrocities, Merry Jolkar, and Mark the Merciful! Good luck gentlemen.

You now have a front-runner on the leaderboard! Congrats to Erax! He toughed it out and slammed the sharks... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

Updates now on my page (link in my sig).

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes indeed...

Asmala set an impressive standard... now the leader of the pack.

Congratulations! You have spanked the sharks!

White text on light grey background makes for some hard reading for people with less than optimal eye sight.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Sorry for the pain dude... if I have some time, I'll switch colors. My eyesight isn't great either, but I found the page ok.

Re: Tournament - Invulnerable Challenge

I want to encourage everyone to finish their matches even if you can't catch Asmala...

It will make for a fun debrief when we're through!
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif
And of course, if you can beat Asmala... full speed ahead...

Stone Mill August 15th, 2003 08:21 PM

Re: Tournament - Invulnerable Challenge

Many of you have told me informally that you have made some progress... any more updates for start/completes?

or spoilers to post in the "spoiler thread"?

With PBW down, it's nice to take advantage of the opportunity...

I would very much like to close this out by October 1.

Players, please do your best to complete the challenge by then. At that time we will declare the winner and have a big wrap-up.

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Can't wait!

If someone does make a new challenge, please make it so that we don't have to log in as host to run the turns all the time.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Use the batch files I mentioned earlier in this thread. Then you have two shortcuts, one loads the turn and the other executes it.
