I doubt it will be much of a competition.

Re: Pythium

So there is going to be a game deciding war between Pythium and Ctis?

I know that the nation of the Bakemono are not as strong as the above nations and will admit to the winner of this war being the true leader of the world.

However, the invincible Agartha will always be the power behind the throne. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

That was hilarious Holyfrog. I mean, probably more hilarious for me. But still, very funny. Cold immune Unfrozen freezing to death.

That said, if you want to continue our little war, we shall then. It's not of much importance in the greater scheme of things.

Re: Pythium

Pythium is not fighting any war with Ctis, as it would be futile. We do not share a border with Ctis, and have no troops that can withstand his dominion.

But if Ctis is bored and attacks us, we will try to defend our borders, and ask our friends for aid.

Pythium is fighting a war with C'tis as of six posts ago. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

It is not futile for Pythium to delay war, it is wise. With your superior gem income, you grow stronger as time goes on, and you are able to bring your research on par with that of the lizards.

But C'tis is now wise to your ways, and we have seen how you beguiled your neighbors into taking the heaviest losses against Vanheim, while you end up with their capitol and huge tracts of land.

Re: Pythium

Ermor and Caelum have ended their mutual conflict.

Though they can offer nothing that will aid Pythium in a fight against gor tartarians, they can at least focus on research and build up their forces in case they suddenly share a border with Ctis.

Caelum and Ermor are wise. Though one race was winning that war, he realized what use is gaining some provinces, when you may be facing tartarians soon? Owning provinces you cannot defend is pointless.

Pythium is doomed-we know that. But we urge all other nations that are at war to end their petty wars. Gaining 10 or even 20 provinces will not matter. What matters is focusing your efforts on researching spells that can aid you when it is your turn to face tartarians. And you need to focus efforts on getting your own tartarians.

Pythium will go down fighting, and hopefully our death may buy the rest of the world the time it needs to catch up in research.

Do not waste your gems on any nation not named Ctis. For unless he can be beaten, all of your efforts are for naught.
Further weakening yourselves through war just aids his cause.

Pangaea, jotunheim, and shinuyama-you need each other. And you need each other to be strong. Each brings something unique to the table. You need peace, and you need a mutual defense pact against Ctis, so when he turns his eyes back to the North, you can stand united against him.

Whatever effort can be made, the chalice must be wished away from ctis. Even if it is a world effort. Though he likely has a vast stockpile of tartarians. Pythium sees 3 demilich plus his pretender right now-though my spies die of disease and my network is incomplete. That is at least 4 mages capable of summoning a tartarian every turn.

It is not our intent to engage our enemy with words in public discourse. The graphs speak louder than any words. And next turn when you see pythium's income and provinces plummet, the proof will be in the pudding so to speak. And Pythium will provide pictures of what you face, and a full accounting of what war with ctis entails on a turn by turn basis so you can prepare the better.

Any nation wanting more detailed information can contact me privately.

Perhaps invincible Agartha will come to the aid of a world in need!

Re: Pythium

So much for "noble" Pythium.

If C'tis had known you would whine and pule and greet like some lost child, we would have sent your a bucket for your tears along with our declaration of war.

Can C'tis hope that it is only fear, which has clouded the minds of your counselors, and impaired the vision of your spies? Or is it because you wish undue advantage, that you feel a need to embellish and exaggerate. Or perhaps Pythium's agenda is to seek to trick C'tis into disclosing the true composition of our forces. In any case, your lies sully the reputation that you seem to have invested so much effort in.

Pythium, send me your death gems, so that C'tis may summon four tartarians a turn. Send me your air and earth gems, that C'tis might equip them. Send me your nature gems, that C'tis might bestow reason on them. And for Pankreator's sake, send me your store of artifacts, so that C'tis may live up to the reputation that you seek to build for us!

If next month the graphs tell a tale of only losses for Pythium, and only gains for C'tis, then that is because you are avoiding the fight with our nation, so that other nations may fight in your stead. While you preserve your strength. While you take no risks. Perhaps a smart plan, but also a cowardly one.

So much for "noble" Pythium.

The world is really in need. In need of Helena the one true goddess and the guidance of the Agarthan Stone Oracles. All tribes, unite under the leadership of Agartha, become a vassal as C'tis, Jotunheim and Eriu are. Otherwise you suffer the same fate as Vanheim will face soon and Abysia and the fallen Mictlan already faced. Make the oath to Helena and Agartha's holy mission on the surface of the world is done.
