Slynky, if ruins appear in your game, I will put the blame on Geo, who could have made a plot against me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Kidding aside, there were no ruins when I checked with an Ancient Empire, so everything should be fine.

And the bottom line about ruins: I will remove normal ruins via a mod in all games I create from now on. If I forget to turn the ruins off when creating the game, unique tech will appear; I will then offer the players to set up a quick mod, making these special techs impossible to use. Of course, I hope I will not forget to turn off the ruins again, but better safe than sorry.

The game between Brianeyci and myself has slowed recently to only a few turns a week - so I don't think we'll be finished anytime soon.
