Heh, apparently that battle had more observers that I have suspected.

Nice picture Holyfrog, but could you please edit that screenshot to make it a bit more narrow? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif That image is so wide it made this thread difficult to read due to reformatting of all posts on this page, making them wider than one screen. (at least in my IE browser)

To help translate long post: Vanheim and Sauro are the defacto leaders (as a team) in the game now and Lanka is outta here!

Don't trust a word either say - especially Vanheim. They will promise anything to anyone to get what they want, but in the end they are always allies!

P.S. I spend about 5 minutes on each turn over the last couple weeks and never watched any replays I'm not surprised I lost (it was just a matter of time in any case).

If anyone needs me for admin purposes for this game PM me as I won't be watching this thread anymore.

So much for graceful losing. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smirk.gif

Bragging in many posts how you will destroy Sauromatia and raze its capital, dragging your entire nation across half of the map to get to my capital, and then later when instead of geting your prize and razing my city you had your *** handed to you on a plate claiming that it happened because you didn't devote enough time into making your turns? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif Tsk, tsk.

Nevermind, not worth getting mad over a game.

Do not let the death cries of a bitter and defeated nation sway you.

Our trading partners and NAP friends can attest to the honor of Vanheim.

Back to the game and having fun:

Vanheim shall be releasing a new version of the DRX 9000, the latest in Dwarven Hammer technology with a new flexi-grip shaft. While it provides the same forging bonus as a regular Dwarven Hammer, it is much more stylish and reduces blistering on those tough 40+ gem forge jobs.

PM your offers to DC.

Greetings again

Holyfrog feels unable to continue with this atm and asked if I would step in as a permanent sub. I hear "I" have peace with all my neighbors as well as 3 n.a.p.s with the frolicking fishmen, the blood hunters of Mictlan and with mighty Ermor.

We would love to keep those treaties if possible and will even go so far as to consider them kept (Gimme a turn or two folks!:)) unless We receive notice otherwise.

It's been looking like a fun game to be in and I bear no ill-will towards the frolicksome water peoples!

Gem trade proposal

The Empire of Sauromatia is looking to aquire some earth gems, for despite our best efforts in searching our earth income is quite low. In exchange we can offer any other gem types or blood slaves. We can also forge various con6 items (including skull mentors, flying boots, amulets of reinvigoration, et cetera) in exchange for earth gems.

Midgame

Out of all nations who have started the game, only half are still alive.

Congratualtions to everyone who has made it this far!
