heh I just noticed that all of you were online when I finished my turn for real this time. Shall we continue the game at blitz pace? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I think this game was decided by Turin's good play and the fact that Jurri survived, and fed Turin from what I understand, for the whole game againt 3 nations. How is that possible? I've never even been able to survive a 2 on 1 for very long.

I'm sure my gems amounted to little; there was a bigger batch of air and earth gems in the hundreds but other than that only a small trickle. (If I remember correctly.) I even managed to destroy a... soul contract, was it? by accident by flooding Turin's lab with sanguine dousing rods http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif So, I might have been something of a hindrance.

Boron only had one small army facing me, even though I liked to exaggerate his involvement. Ygorl was in a very weak situation and quickly neutralized for a while. That left me in a situation where I couldn't stop Whollaborg's impressive assault while Ygorl slowly took his lands back: in the end I survived so long only because they both took the assault so methodically, without rushing anything. Or so it seemed to me.

So, thus dissected, it really is nothing extraordinary to just linger on.

Hold on, is this another cheezy MP tactic I haven't seen before? If you send items to another player, do they go into the lab before the items the player forges for the turn, or is it random? This could be an easy Denial Of Forge attack, by having an alliance each just make and send a dozen cheapo items to someone with the FoA global. Please tell me no.

Re: new turn

it works but the amount you spend on it dosnt justify your result. what works better is a bunch of ulmish smiths with dwarven hammers+FoA up mass sending worthless items to someone trying to spam contracts/clams ect

A new turn is up. I am now accepting (soliciting? begging for?) contributions to the "Dispel Turin's Globals" fund.

Re: new turn

I wonīt contribute! But It would be interesting to know how many extra gems you put into the first dispel.

I put enough. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
I'll tell you if you tell me how many extra gems you put into the second casting. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

new turn.
Marignon has quite a lot of nasty unique demons. So itīs only fair that I pepper him with hordes from hell. He also left one victorypoint uncastled bringing me up to 10.

Another new turn.
Turin, I thought you were peppering Whollaborg? What's with the wayward hordes?

Heh I have enough good stuff for everyone.

Good news for the good guys: Belial the lord of corruption lies slain in front of my gates. But I have made a sighting of Marignonīs prophet who looks pretty impressive:
