Just submitted turn 51 - I'll be away from the computer for a week from today. :)

Gotta pack the car tonight...sigh... maybe I'll ask the wifey if we could leave behind a kid or two....

For some uknown reason game is still on 48h timer. I will try switching it again. It might have been the reason that you didn't get email notice.

15:30 GMT on Monday April 6th Hosting interval changed to 72 hours.

Luckily, I am not too emotionally invested in LA Pyth so I have no objections, though I am not one to stale normally. I still haven't looked at the turn yet and I don't recall when the action heats up with my neighbor so it may or may not have been consequential.

My stale was actually due to the same reason, I was kind of busy, and thought there was another day for some reason so I wasn't checking. Then I had a new turn in the mail, woo.

Very well then, since I am not available until next Tuesday and it seems like nobody is going to pick my position up, I am going to put myself to AI.

Be mindful of the game leaders, any aspiring Pantokrator most probably will be pleased when neighbouring nations descend into chaos :)

perhaps we can look for someone to take up the position. a couple stales while a replacement is looked for will not be any different than a couple turns of AI - you are not in any war atm.

Huh, try creating a new thread looking for a sub. And wait at least 2-3 turns before turning AI. That wouldn't be really fair for other players, as it would profit just your neighbours [me and archae]. You are too big to go down [like GM and other US companies :P].
