it will.
Most Proletarian promise of the Peoples Republic. So everybody gets to issue attack orders in the next turn? |
Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Just to clarify: if by "the next turn", you mean the current turn (the one that we all just received), then the answer is an unequivocal "heck yeah!".
Or at least, that is my understanding from Lung Drago's posts on the matter. :-) |
Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
So, did Pan go AI or just stale
|
Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Pan just staled. The player has disappeared, and we couldn't set the country to AI as we didn't have his password :-(
Hence the clunky Civil War thing. With no player, and no AI to even move units, it should be fairly brutal for Pan. |

The sooner Pan gets wiped, the better for us, since we won't need to manually host the turns any longer. So, don't be shy! Release the hounds! Release the Krakens! Release the Bane Lords! Heck, release whatever you use, just make sure Pan is dead. :D |

The Proletarians of Pangea will not be opressed by their vile reactionary backwards pseudocapitalist rulers much longer!

Needless to say, Blood magic is still banned, of course! |
Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Necromancy within reasonable limits (only with the consent of the to be reanimated) has long been a staple of the Republic!
There are some concerns about the civil and economic rights of reanimated intelligent beings, and some within the peoples Republic fear that growing numbers of intelligent, voting undead could upset the political system of the Peoples Republic. Others voice the concern considering the risk of scientific stagnation, or overpopulation. The Peoples Republic is addressing these issues with a large degree of state control of Necromancy, as well as direct democracy elements involved in choosing persons to be reanimated. While Undead citizens of Ulm enjoy full civil rights, their ecomic rights are a bit limited by a introduction of a fairly high toll tax on undead beings. OC: Actually, managing a state with sentient undead/sentient revived immortal persons would be quite complicated, and would likely lead to stagnation. A ruling class of undead or future undead is another likely outcome if reanimations are controlled by the state or a ruling class. |

What a lovely announcement. Wobbly skeleton men are funny. Except when there are 1000 of them attacking Spottygoose.

Fishworm is back! The Peoples Republic of Ulm has gotten a major recruitment coup as its Tartarian recruitment office acquired the services of no other than Fishworm himself! We now switch over to comrade Field Marshal Zhukov, who has taken a break from bashing Lizards and decerebralising political opponents and is now conducting an interview for Ulm News! Field Marshal Zhukov: "Greetings Fish Worm, how do you like Ulms most incredible and totally unbiased employment opportunities for Tartarians?" Fishworm:"I am not Fishworm! No, I am Fishnanny! No, I am Fishworm! No! No, I am Fishworm! Field Marshall Zhukov:"Did Man or Tien Chi hit your head a lot`?" Fishworm:"Yes! No! Which head! Both Heads!" Field Marshall Georgy Zhukov:"While your lower part looks quite Fishwormlike, you appear to have picked up hands, and a humanoid torso and head. How did this happen? Fishworm: Fishnanny picked up Fishworm Half in Tartarus! No, Fishwormhalf picked up Fishnanny in Tartarus! Fu Fu Fu Fusion! Field Marshall Zhukov: "And what about your new found magic abilities? From my best knowledge, neither Fishworm nor Fishnanny was very skilled in Fire magic..." Fishworm:"Fishwormhalf Smart was! Hehe, more Smarter Fishwormhalf indeed it was, other half got back to Fishworm palace and was turned into Sashimi by big 4 armed guy! But more smarter Fishwormhalf stayed in Tartarus and put a Dynamo on Spottygoose! Fishwormhalf got more Fire magic everytime Spottygoose used Tartarian Elevator! Muahahahhaha!
