You know I spend a lot of time lurking on this board watching you bar guys. You're driving me nuts...you've been talking about organizing a PBM game for how long now? At least a month or more...just play it!

Capt. Kwok, 1st I must disagree with brother Tigga, I believe it was over 6 months, I thought GT and Gryph started the challenge in October, ohh well,
2nd we had to wait until everyone received their copy of gold, Saxon was out kissing mooses up north, mephisto was carousing around dining on carrots, Gryphin was researching more into CTW and TGP, I was in the midst of having a mechanical disagreement with my #$^%$%$& computer,
Tesco was out discovering some new sauce, Growltigga was sipping brewskis at sit down cafe's watching the bouncing sites go by and everyone else... well thats why this is a Bar & Grill Cantina, to help wile away our time.... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Right, with that display of typical teutonic efficiency, I do believe Mephisto (Esel to his friends)has accepted all of the 'Bar & Grill' possee to the game

What do we do now? how does Mac embark on his quest for galactic domination at the expense of fluffy bunnies and furry felines everywhere? has my shipset loaded? I dont know?? what is going on?
Has Captain Kwok got the right idea? help, I do not understand what is going on?

Actually, on a very funny note, Mrs GT had her first sight of the forum the other day - I did ask her to participate but she said that 'I was a sad man and more likely to have a knee trembler with Cameron Diaz than get her on the forum" - she also said that most of the participants probably had beards

Now, we know about Gryphin and the furry fellah infesting his top lip, I am about as follicly challenged as Patrick Stewart (with the same posh English accent)

Mac? nah, old boy with a marine haircut
Mephisto? nah,. young German looking like Michael Schenker
Saxon? definate beard potential there
Tesco? potential beard potential I feel

This is probably information we should share before this game starts - there is still time to back out

Beard? Of course I have a beard. It would take all the fun out of kissing moose if I didn’t have a beard.

Have you ever read Castro’s essay on beards? He sets out, at great length, how wasteful shaving is. He calculated the time and expense that each man goes through every morning shaving. He then multiplies it by the number of men in Cuba and calculates the wasted man-hours and resources each year. His conclusion is that shaving is counter revolutionary and a waste. Thus, his bushy beard.

Oh, as far as I know everyone is on board and we could actually start playing.

Beard confirmed here as well. Not big and bushy and viking like, admittedly. It's actually very pretentious and slightly comical- a short goatee with an inch- thick unshaved "ridge" running centrally from bottom lip to chin. I'm hoping to grow the central bit long enough to plait. Maybe then it will stop looking silly...


BTW, I should think poor Ms Diaz' knees would tremble!
