Re: A slight delay, if the gentlemen won\'t mind

Not to worry, I'm well aware of the lag I'm causing. A new turn is in, and I intend to do the new one tomorrow at the latest.

I wouldn't object to a pause when Pasha's away, either, if he'd so prefer: at least to me this is so much fun that I wouldn't want to miss a turn! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

If you guys are willing to pause while I am away (from Saturday through Wednesday), it would be nice.

However, I can also get a substitute (I just asked Panther; I promised him that he would have lot's of flying horseys to play with, but he has not responded yet).

If we have it at 72 QH, very few turns would go by while I was away.

I wouldn't mind pausing, Pasha. But, if you do get a sub, on 72-h quickhost he'll only have to play like 1 turn.

Panther has agreed to sub. He will hold the reigns of the Flying Horseys of Arco while I am away. Hopefully, the Council of Philosophers will not drown him with their endless debate about the evil of AKU's devil army.

It's because the Council of Philosophers insisted. I had no choice.

Damn, my Moloch with an MR of 25 got blinded on the (I think) first shot. She was also cursed (nice move, by the way). Does the curse make it harder to resist spells or was I just unlucky?

Also, if a unit is using an item to cast spells (say, a fire scepter - many of them; how many gems do you have?), does the unit get spell fatigue? I ask because it didn't look like it, although relief was being cast a lot (not by me, of course).

A blind cursed Moloch == a dead Moloch with lots of afflictions == Chris wins again. On the plus side, I killed an assassin and now have some goodies. Woo hoo !!! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I think you just got insanely unlucky. I'm not absolutely positive, if being cursed had anything to do with it or not, though.

About using an item to cast spells, I think you do still get fatigue, but definitely not as much as normal. I think you ignore the spell fatigue and just take your encumbrance fatigue. I'm not positive about this, either.

How many gems do I have? I can't say! But, remember, I am Ulm, and my smiths can make those scepters for 2 fire each.
