Re: OT: How old are you ?
Isn't it possible that the woman you dream about is the one you marry?
|
Re: OT: How old are you ?
If that was the case I'd be married to both Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch!

I think Kamog may have meant 'type' of woman. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif It could be that it is our "ideal" in some way. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif If so, and if it were true, then there seems to be a wide discrepancy between it and the woman we do marry. Maybe we are just too impatient to wait. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif |
Re: OT: How old are you ?
I had my 46th birthday on December 1.
On December 3, I was released (laid-off) from my job. But, God was faithful; through what could be considered coincidences, I started my new (and better) job on December 16. I only missed 8 working days and have a job I really love. BTW, I'm a civil engineer doing design for residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Greybeard |
Re: OT: How old are you ?
I'm 51 and Viet Nam vet, too (slaps dbt on the shoulders).
Cut my teeth on an old game called Tactics II by Avalon Hill when I was about 10 or 11. Afther that, moved to Blietzkrieg by the same company. I was 19 and drafted into the army, where, after a series of tests, given a job in computers and assigned to ASA (an old intel org). Computers changed my life (DUH!) and been with them ever since. Games were sad in the early days of PCs so I stayed busy with PBM games: Starweb, Illuminati, Spiral Galaxy, CTF 2184 (still playing to this day), Criime, and others. First real game to keep me occupied on the PC was Empire II. THEN came MOO. Played and played and played. Beat it everyway to sunrise using every race on highest setting. Same thing with MOO2. But the game never really had a good way to play with others. Then came SE4. Learned to play well enough to thump all the AI at highest settings till it got boring. That's when I ventured to SE4 PBEM. And, then to PBW. After all, beating humans is what it's all about. So, there ya go! |

I'm old enough to remember Panzer Blitz, and I still have my copy. I also still have my Commodore 64...
