Re: Mists of Time: Early Era Game [full]

Does anyone (Firewalker?) know who had staled?

As soon as I know that whoever the rollback was actually done for has submitted his turn, I can force hosting.
Only Arco, Tir, Ulm and Yomi haven't either (re)submitted a turn or commented here.

Ossa: can you confirm you resubmitted R'lyeh's turn without changes?
DakaSha: will that satisfy you and we can go ahead with your original turn?

I'm not sure how you got the messages out of order.
At this point, we're on Turn 39. Apparently you need do nothing, if you didn't stale last turn.

OK. But I have my turn 39 .2h file in my Sent folder - would I be safer just to submit it again?

Re: Mists of Time: Early Era Game [full]

I am playing Arco.

I am completely confused now. I was sent turn 40 saying that I had staled the previous turn. Now it is rolled back to turn 39, but it still says that I staled the previous turn and I am in the exact same situation that I was in for "turn 40". So do I need to resend the turn?

punkzip, you should use turn 39's trn file to play a turn and send that 2h file in so that you don't stale for turn 39.

Tir na n'Og is here, and pissed because of rollback. If someone would just be kind enough to tell me if there's the possibility of having my previous 39th turn 2h file being stored in llamaserver so I can pretty much wait out this turn or do I have to resubmit something close to what I originally did back in 39?

Duke,

It says this on the previous page - looks like it just uses your old turn.

Read this next bit carefully. I seem to be having difficulties explaining it coherently:

Note that once the game is rolled back, it will appear that the game is waiting for 2h files from all players. However, the 2h files from last time the turn was played will in fact be there, and will be used if the game hosts without them being overwritten. This can be useful; often, a game is rehosted in order for only one or two players to retake their turns, while everyone else is expected to make no changes. The game admin can therefore wait till just those players have submitted, and then force hosting. None of the other players will stale (assuming they actually submitted a 2h file last time the turn was played).

I hope all that makes sense!

Well I read that, but I had to be sure.. Soo... leaving things as they are now? Not sending anything to server aye?

Re: Mists of Time: Early Era Game [full]

I have been assured that the llamaserver does keep the old 2h files and will use them after a rollback. It just doesn't display them on the webpage.
So you should be able to just wait this out.

Most people had a copy of the 2h and re-sent it just to be sure.
