Actually, it is tough doing this while out of town for sure. Luckily, my daughter found us a Super 8 hotel in Sacramento this evening with free high speed internet access that was not overly expensive. So I got all my moves done in my 4 ongoing games. No stales yet!

Tomorrow, we are visiting the law school at the College of the Pacific in Sacramento and then on to San Francisco.

I like the idea of a sub for Deccan, for I would hate to see any stales during this massive war we are having. Though killing Steerpike for yet the third time might be rough on the dude. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

I would vote to set the server for the period of Deccan's holiday on something like 10 days quickhost .
Then deccan could do his turn if he finds time + internet access during his holiday and if he doesn't find time then we just wait until he comes back from his holiday .

My estimation is that Deccan is in a really strong position and one of the 3 major powers atm . Having to give away that position now for some days or even forever is surely not what Deccan wants to do http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .

Yeah, it's still quite far away, but I'm very busy at work right now as I have a lot of things to take care off before I leave.

I'll probably only spend a day in Brisbane. I remember walking around Brisbane CBD Last year looking for a Wi-Fi hotspot to play an MP game but couldn't find one.

Not practical! I'm gone for five weeks! Haha. Actually, once I "settle down" a bit after an initial bout of travelling I could probably play if I tried. But I would still risk some intermittent stales.

*Blush* Now if Panther cuts my empire down to size before I can hand it over to Steerpike, I'd be very embarassed.

Don't worry too much about me. My position as a hyperpower in Argitoth's MP game is nicely satisfying my delusions of Dom2 grandeur. Truth to tell, I'm getting a bit bored with Dom2 and looking forward to getting some new games during my holidays, e.g. Rome: TW, Pirates!, Sims 2 etc. I'll still be around, but I'll probably only play like 1 or 2 games at any one time.

So I guess we have 10 days to see the battle of the two superpowers (Abysia and Ctis).

I know this turn I saw Abysia wreck havoc on vanheims and marignons armies with very little casualties.

I am just going to take your water provinces Panther if you dont mind lmfao.

Yeah i play only 1-2 games at once since about 2 months too . This is imo the optimal amount of games with more it is more like a work and not too fun because you play then almost only dom 2 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .

You could also try battle for middleearth .
If you don't care about graphics too much but want a really satisfying + deep singleplayer mainly game try Victoria - An empire under the sun from paradox entertainment .

Rome is really worth being bought also , the battles are simply amazing to watch http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif . The only problem is if you are an old TW veteran Rome will provide no challenge for you after the fist 20-40 hours or so .
