IW has said they have the patch done (or mostly) and it's sent to Shrapnel. Which we assume is to be customized to each OS. I think the nearest accessment is "soon" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Good news is that Dom2 was released 1 day prior to it scheduled release; so they don't take the customary '3 weeks after they promise' which is the norm of other gaming companies.

Our Solaris man has been sick for a little while which has delayed the patch a few days. But we still expect it to be released before christmas.

I understand there's some benefit to moving all the platforms at the same time, but waiting for Solaris seems a bit... well, I'm guessing you can count the number of Solaris copies sold on your fingers. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Then again, for all I know this is the only game you can actually buy for Solaris. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Of course, but when the patch comes out, unless it's horribly bugged, no MP game will use the original anymore. Meaning, if someone in an MP game is using Solaris, they'll have compatibility problems, most likely.

So, releasing all Versions at the same time makes a lot of sense.

Illwinter has suffered from some bad events, we have two non working internet connections and one broken down computer. I knew we shouldn't have chosen the turmoil +3 dominion.
