It's a network game I say. I newer played net D2. I think I would like to play. Machaka is my favorite, but Pangaea is my 2nd favorite.

If the starting time is at 2000 EST, then I can probably make it. I'll take Arcoscephale and upload my pretender only if I'm going to be able to play.

Something is horribly wrong with my router and I won't be able to upload my pretender until i can fix the problem. Be patient, though.

Heh. What an odd Argitoth. He can check his email, and use IRC, but can't get simple-TCP to a single port to work.

That's what you get for using a crappy router, instead of a proper Linux box!

Looks like we'll be having quite the party.

I do believe I'll join - or actually, I can't quite believe it. Question though - random rare or common? It will definately make a difference to pretender design. I'll be playing Vanheim.

Rare. The World map is enormously huge enough that even on rare events, you're probably going to get your full quota of 3 events a round. I always have, even on an Order-3 race, randoms rare race.

What rare *DOES* reduce is the possibility that your temple/lab/home province BURNS TO THE GROUND inside of the first 3 turns of the game, leaving you totally jacked. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
