Side note: For all those 3D modelers out there, who are also interested in this game, I have just found out that SOTS ship files are .X files! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif So that probably means that any SEV race can be transplanted to SOTS! This new game looks nice...a bit too cartoony but mostly nice.

Thanks anguille...Sorry you feel its a bit too "cartoony"...everybody and their dog does the same old boring 3-D talking heads...we thought we would do something a little more stylish, a little less taking oneself oh so seriously. These days one tends to forget that in the days of Ho! and early MOO there was a bit of tongue in cheek mixed in with the space opera.

Actually i love cartoons and the original MOO. It's that i am more into "belgium" and "french" style of cartoons (like Valérian). I'll be following this with interest...will it be released in Europe?

We have always been dedicated to international releases, especially Europe. Every project this team has done we have made a point doing a media tour across Europe. Oddly enough this time around though we have had a lot of european publishers tell us you people are NOT interested in space games anymore...
