Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
I've got Windows XP (Home) on a partition on the 500GB HD and my nose has stopped imitating a hose, so - Would hooking up the old 160GB HD (Which also has Windows XP (Home) on it) so I can transfer the data cause problems?
(Thanks muchly for all help. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif ) |
Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
No problems will be caused. Just make sure that the 500 gb drive with the new installation is connected as the primary master drive.

Ok, thanks.

Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
Well, I managed to accidently shove one of the data prongs in a bit, so I need to get that fixed so the 160 drive can be read properly...

Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
So when I went to copy files...The 500GB is on master select and the first (Middle) plug-in of the data cable. The 160 is on cable select and the second (Last) plug-in of the data cable.
Windows XP Home on the 500GB is convinced that the 160GB is unformatted. This is garbage, as I am currently posting this from Windows XP Home on the 160GB. How do I convince the 500GB windows install of this? |
Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
Anyone know where Neverwinter Nights 2 keeps its save games?

Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
Well, now I know where 30.1 GB are taking up space.
The desktop folder. I am NOT copying all of that over to the new drive. |
Re: So I\'ve got two 500GB HDs...
And all drive problems have been solved. I'm running off the new main drive, the new backup drive is up and running...
