Probably not, I've noticed that he was losing a war he was fighting. I'll message him and ask him to at least set his nation as A.I.

Hmm...It's a fatal mistake underestimating the power of S9 shadow vessels. Please set C'tis to AI, thanks.

BTW, Is there a cost-effective way to counter S9 shadow vessel for C'tis? With 18 MR, high def and twist fate, they're almost impossible to kill with normal troops or banishment. And dust to dust is distracted by undead horsemen and negated by twist fate. Of course wither bone can do the job, but it's hard to achieve for a year 2 battle.

You have to set yourself to AI - its one of the in-game options. I prefer fighting to the end - it can be fun to fight and try new things once you know you are losing anyway (takes the pressure off :) ).

Solar Rays works well iirc.

OK. As a nOOb MP player, It's better to play as long as possible to learn mechanics of the game. I'll remain in the game until there is absolutely nothing to do:D

The hosting interval will be changed to 48 hours on the 25th turn.

ok, Caelum/qjo has staled 4 times in a row. Assume he has just decided to leave the game with no notice - nice. We should get a sub or set Caelum to AI. It's not to fair to just let their neighbors carve them up.

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!

uhm..its 6 straight stales for Caelum and it seems Arcos is taking them over quietly. Even though my nation is doing well I am going to set myself to AI. I dont want to waste my time in a game where a large nation is just left to sit there and be carved up and the admin doesn't even bother to look for a sub, or even set them to AI, especially when it is the admin that is taking them over.

Caelum did not just leave, once he saw that myself and another nation has ganged up on him and that he had no chance of winning, he simply gave up. He only had about 3 provinces left, and virtually no troops. So you shouldn't quit.

6 turns ago he seemed to have a lot more provinces than 3, from I could see. If he wanted to quit, he should at least have set himself to AI. Having him just sit there and stale every turn is ridiculous. Basically in this game his neighbors have just been handed an undefended nation to divy up.

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!

I've sent him a private message asking him to set himself as A.I, he did not reply, let alone set himself as A.I.

Although he did have more than 3 provinces, his forces were outnumbered by 3 to one, he knew he was about to lose, and he quit.
