turn 35
marginal Victory
Left 3 objectives to take.
The fight was tough, but exceeded my expectations. I settled for a draw but got a marginal victory.
I hope that my soldiers have gained experience.
To correct:
I'll have more air defenses and I will have my mortar ammunition.
In this area I can not use my superiority in tanks.

I will continue the campaign. Now I will not describe every battle but I will summarize.

Re: U.S. long campaign

Pretty good Dar there Roman,i enjoyed the read:)

As a suggestion,if you don't want go with the Aluetions again, you could set next battle or two with one VH near the JIA and after repairing simply deploy your force to the edge your map side and retreat.
You will lose,a battle or two, but still gain some exp.and get out the boggy Aluetions,to more firmer ground where armour and transport might be more effective in the South Pacific.

Whatever you decide,Good luck to you!

Re: U.S. long campaign

Thanks Gila. Sometimes I have decided to end the battle as you say. I just pass the turn without fighting. That way I have managed draws and if I remember to have been marginal victories without a fight.
The first battle was to show the hardness of the Japanese.

Second Battle: Aleutian Islands, June 1942.
Battle of 33 turns.
Added 3 snipers and three groups of scouts to the main force.
Auxiliaries:
- 3 m15antiaircraft firing.
- 1 platoon of 81 mm mortar
- 3 sections of ammo wagon

Turns 1 to 5:
The Japanese attacked with two planes. My defenses shot down one. They also bombarded with 75mm cannons. They did enough damage. They destroyed two ammunition wagons and damaged a M15.
They also attacked with 81mm mortars.
My troops advance. The M3 section 5 tanks are advancing along the south in an excellent area for vehicles. I will try to take his rear guard and eliminate their artillery.
Unfortunately I have no air support.

Turn 6 to 14:
My tanks are infiltrated behind the enemy lines and destroyed 4 enemy mortars.
In the north there is no enemy activity. The enemy took the southern targets and trying to take the objectives of the center.
My artillery is ready to smash the enemy.

Decisive Victoria surprise.
On turn 22 the battle was over. (The battle was 33 turns).
Is that I took all the targets and to shut most of the enemy troops (which can be seen in the red circle).
I have been very useful as m15 antiaircraft also used against infantry, not to mention that destroyed five enemy aircraft.
