Gregbowman's name really sounds like Gregwoman if you happen to have Israeli accent, and in no way I told him that as an offense. And my comment of Einstein looking sick as in sexually sick was intended as a joke.
In the end, nothing in this world is "uncalled for".
If you wanna be accepted by posting not what you really think, but what is going to be accepted, then be free to do so.
I post what i think is right, even though it might be wrong, and if its wrong according to what i believe to be right, then I will apologize and try to amend it, like the other day when Oleg called to my attention some poorly phrased comment from my part about stepsons.

About politics, enjoy your freedom of speech, it might not Last much longer, me fear.

Also, you seemed to be irritated over this person's excitement about getting a new PC.

So, as you said above, perhaps you didn't phrase it as well as it should have been if it was intended to be kidding around.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I wasn't irritated, and it was not about getting a new computer, but about the zillion times he said he couldn't play something cause his computer was too old.

Now this Last part, I agree it was not friendly. Everybody have the right to say whatever he wants. Now I see from where you were coming, and I have to accept that you are right.

You see? I said another thing badly phrased. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Hey, aloofi, you may have the same problem as I do. Boy, sometimes I hear the words in my mind, juggle them around, and type at the same time. Sometimes, the two are different.

Kind of an example:

In my military days...I was in an audience of soldiers who were asking a general on the stage some questions. Many of the questions were phrased badly. He had to ask for clarification. Finally, when I was called upon, I prefaced my question with the remark that I would try to phrase my question so he could understand it. I meant it to be that others hadn't done so. He took it that I was insinuating he was stupid. Immediately afterward, I was explaining myself to the company commander. Ugh!

Regardless, you have indicated you may have worded things badly. Anyone who can admit to "slipping" has a quality many don't.

I certainly didn't mean this to be any kind of "Aloofi bashing". (trying to explain myself... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif ) It's just I thought it might make you see there might have been other things that got your rating lowered.

Just to "clear matter" that computer discussion was not about old computer or getting new computer, but that his computer died horrible death and yes, it was mentioned quite a few times. What I really did not figure out how he was able post so many times with dead computer http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't know for sure, but I post from my PC at work all the time. So, that's one way.

Also, he might have a friend (certainly, all my children's friends seem to have PCs) who let him use his PC. Another way.

And the library usually has PCs.

It's no big deal really.

Great, A thread that have turned into Aloofi-bashing. I want a piece of that http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I asked you to remove it, which you didn't, so it can not be just a slip of mind.

If it still was possible I would have rated you a 1, not because of your opinions, but because of your attitude.

Yes, Aloofi is totally insensitve - everyone here loves peace - it isn't like ANYONE plays a game where the population of entire worlds are routinely killed from space, or plauges are deliberately dropped on civilians, or ...
Oh, wait, nevermind. I seem to be in the wrong forum.
