Turin, I think this is the best advice I can give you concerning anything DoGA; ditch DoGA level 1 and 2 and install 3. That ship looks good, but it will, not would or could, will look better in DoGA lvl 3.

Umm, and spam and stuff.

Years ago, during winter, I got out my Lego collections as I was inspired to build something. That, and it has snowed 4' over night and I couldn't have gone anywhere if I wanted to.

Attached is the result. This was several years before Lego released the same as a kit.

A friend of mine is certain that I must be autisic or something when it comes to Lego. In her words, "How else could someone who keeps messing up everything else in their life be able to create such things out of Lego?"

I was always building space ships with guns during my childhood, and it always annoyed me that they kept bringing out better and better sets after I had "grown up"... But luckily I now have two little lads to re-new my aquantice with lego again. We currently play with this set of lego called duplo explore which is a cross between duplo and technic type stuff that you have a screw driver to put it all together with. I cant wait till they grow up a bit and we can buy all the castle lego and have huge medieval wars......

How large was the original death star in Star Wars. Man could you image if a game like SEIV could have such things..... OMG.

50,000kt and 100,000kt death stars. Imagine how long it would take to build. And destroy. (You would have to have some large space consuming components like really large crew quarters and support systems.

Don't forget the Captain Power super semi-thermocuple anti spammming TFC R-11 hull plating.

And a bunch of anti fighter cannons to prevent the Rebels from blowing it up after all the resources and time we spent making it.

I actually have a semi scematic of the death star. It is mostly reactors and power generation equiipment, but has something like 3,000 decks. I will see if I can find the book and list the specs. Very interesting stuff.

This site is a wealth of information relating to real phsyics and Star Wars (also some Star Trek stuff too). Somewhere on the site (sorry, couldn't find it again) he goes into a detailed essay on the size, power requirements and output of star destroyers and Death Stars.

Very cool stuff.

What I've been wondering about is how does the Death Star move around? You never see it fly away together with the fleet of star destroyers, but somehow, after destroying one planet, it shows up light-years away at another planet. There must be some hidden engines on it?

Well, unless someone beats me to it, this is the 180th post in the thread. Which means that soon, there are going to be a lot of people waiting to pounce on post number 200. Which is far less than the original goal of 10^3, or 2^10 Posts, depending on who you ask what the original goal happened to be. Actually, I think most of the people you ask about the goal to this thread will respond something like:
