Re: The fate of R\'lyeh
I PM'ed otthegreat, who knows BigAndScary. He says BigAndScary's computer was in for repairs and he's getting it back today. So, R'lyeh will just have some extra gold when he gets back (unless he's being invaded? Not as far as I know, though.)

Re: The fate of R\'lyeh
Very good to hear,
I wouldn't be happy to see R'lyeh AI. Welcome back when you read this BigAndScary! /Whollaborg PS. If Jotunheim can post he's turn before 12.30 GMT today i am able to do one turn before I leave for Eastern vacation from which i will be back at Tuesday 16.00 GMT. -So if my next turn wont pop out to the server today, i would very much like to have extension until Tuesday 18.00 GMT. |
Re: The fate of R\'lyeh
The game will be postponed untill then. I will be away then for easter as well.
|
Re: The fate of R\'lyeh
The game has had its hosting postponed until tuesday at 20:00
|
Re: The fate of R\'lyeh
Sorry for the delay there, guys. I didn't mean to hold you up. The scum of Man had finally, finally managed to defeat me (losing another 70 units in the process), and I thought my involvement in the game was over. I received a PM explaining I needed to send in another End Turn.
Jotunheim needs to turn in his turn anyways, so it wasn't all me. ; ) Best of luck, and take Man out for me! |
Re: The wealth of Man
Mictlan intelligence sources report Man has a vast array of artifacts in their possession, such treasure as has never been seen in this world. Why bother creating your own items, when they can be taken from the hands of Man?
Nations of Forseti, rise up against the caster of the Forge, and take his treasures! There is enough land and loot for all. Mictlan |
the mighty Unbless of the Mictlan is threatening
False accusations,
Mictlan itself posesses already the ark and the chalice and yet more of the artifacts of which we only have a small fraction. Mictlan has dispalled our forge twice and that itself has cost us more gems that we could have had gained during the full four months we had either of those forges running [the second was cast with 220 earth gems, so it has been a mighty dispelling or pure luck to bring that forge down, but they did!]. Sneak attack, 280 unsacer troops of mictlan sneakily attacked us from two pocket ships that carried those troops across the sea. They managed to do some harm to our troops that lingered in the former Tien Chi capital, but no serious harm was done as most of our armies had moved away from the province. Mictlan troops now starve in the lands of the Tien Chi where no person lives. Their mighty sacred armies are powerless to advance due to the lack of supply and their sacreds are already perishing to death. Mictlans dread, Mictlan with it's artifacts and unholly bless has become the most powerfull nation in the world, Now they aim to bring us, the man, down with their sneak attack. Meanwhile their vast provinces are left undefended as the current expedition army, as strong it is, will be unable to do serious harm to us before perishing. This means that micltan will have to commit more strenght and probably nearly all of its troops against us if they are to succeed in their endeavor. We will be clad of any aid that any decent nation can muster against the Mictlan. As if the man falls - all other nations will follow, as the unbless of the Mictlan will thereafter rule the world! In humble request of aid, Zhukov of the Man |
The trickery of Man
Man shows his trickiness by claiming Mictlan possesses items we may or may not have. We will not fall for his ploy! Are Mictlan and Man the only nations in these lands?
As this war progresses, look to your crafters, and see what they can create. Many heroes will join those who have already fallen, and their items can be rebuilt. Mictlan claims no ownership over the artifacts, everyone is free to forge what they may. Our surprise attack was born out of necessity, for we witnessed great magic in Man's final battle against TC. The two brave captains of Mictlan could not have sailed their forces against such might and hoped to live. If Man truly feels that Mictlan is the most powerful nation, they should lay down their arms and surrender to us. We will treat your peoples with compassion, for in this age Mictlan does not sacrifice on the altar of blood. But this world is yet young, and all nations have a chance at greatness, so long as the three great globals remain uncast. It is Man who has endangered peace by brining up the Forge twice. Mictlan is not greedy, and we do not claim the lands of Man for ourselves alone. There are many, many, many beautiful castles in the world that have been raised by Man, begging for occupancy as they are emptied while Man marches to war. And the dominion of the world has been corrupted by the legions of temples Man has raised to their false god, temples that beg to be torn down. Mictlan |
Sneak attack to death?
Behold!
Mictlan claims that nearly 300 hundred überblessed troops sailed to their defeat but miraculously they did survive and by mistake they did slaughter 1/3rd of the army man had mustered against the remnants of Tien Chi. Mictlan claims that it had witnessed the battle between man and tien chi. This they might have very well done due to their magical scrying. Because of that scrying revealing supposedly overwhelming strenght of our army it sounds to us a very tricky plan to launch a sneak attack that as micltan now claims should have miserably failed (sic) ! Mictlan asks us to surrender, We respond: Never! The Tower and the Shield will never fall and the ironclad muscle will not fail against the feathered foe that rains down from the heavens like dung of a seagull! We will not yeld even against overwhelming odds! Our dominion is strong and defences erect! Let the strom come and we will tame it! -Brangwen the Blind One |

Dire times of man
Mictlan has ferried a second patch of troops across the ocean, now our intelligence report 500 blessable troops with a whole bunch of mages to accompany them.
R'lyeh has massed troops on our border with no reply to our plea of help. Jotunheim, so we are told, is planning to join the Mictlan in attack against us. Agartha is the only nation who has agreed to have a non-agression pact with us. Pandar Log remains neutral, or so they say, as this time neutrality means to stand and watch as the Mictlan takes over the world. Only the Tower of the Man is standing erect (aye, our tall Jotun friend) on path of blood and destruction that is going to engulf the world when the reign of Mictlan starts. But if we together can stop the tide of Mitlan before it finally launces, we can still have a world in our hands. And in that world anything might happen and anyone can rise to greatness! Please, reasonable minds of the world, now is the time to reconsider! Zhukov |
Re: Dire times of man
I just cant be resonable with you talking about erections, LOL.
|
Re: Tired rhymes of man
Listen not to the gilded voices of the bards of Man, as they sing their songs of woe. Once again they praise the might of Mictlan's army, but decline to surrender to us.
Yes, Mictlan has landed on the shores that once belonged to Tien Chi, and it is truly a desolate land. Not one peasant remains. Such is the violence that Man brought to this world! Man is not the helpless old ladies they make themselves out to be. Why, our brave captains were nearly destroyed by multiple Manifestations of evil! And only the goodness of the gods saved one captain from being swept away in a whirlwind. Mictlan strives to restore the balance that was wrecked by the greed of Man, as he sought to own all that was unique and beyond price. But he hides his toys in his castles, and does not come out to play. Where is the Sword of Aurgelmer, which we saw you wield in the final battle against Tien Chi? For what reason do you hide the Aegis, is it a sight so horrible to view that you keep it locked in some dungeon? Where is the Forge Lord's Hammer, the Stone Sword, the Sceptre, the Sickle Whose Crop is Pain? Since Man has not opened up a museum for all to come and view these riches, they must once more be made available to all nations. We know you have most capable curators and librarians, for the sages of Man have devoted much time to research, and the burned lands of Tien Chi are evidence of their prowess. Why, we cannot even find a single solitary mushroom growing here! Sad times, indeed. Mictlan |

Only Knights and Samurai are obliged to declare war. In Mictlan country, it's strictly the law of the jungle.

Mictlans Second wave,
Second wave of Mictlan landed southwards. Army was a peculiar one, consisting only of a hundered blessables and 16 turkeys! can you believe? Turkeys turned out to have considerable power in astral and nature paths (3,3) and they scared the [censored] out of the few militia units defending the landing province. Some foul trickery is suspected.
Turkeys will most likely meet the jotuns in few months to come if our defences down under fails. We dealt with the Jotun attack and the giants are now in flight to cower their asses. Unfortunately we might not be able to follow them because of the grave threat not only to the man but to the to the world. That is Mictlan. Around 600-800 hundred, mostly blessable troops are aproaching our castle up in the mountains. We cannot tell if we intend to make that castle a battleground our do we have to give the Mictlan more room to manouver. Now their unblessed army is simply staggering. It is led by the horrible djinn from the bottle and it is followed dozens after dozens of mages of considerable might! The doom of all is the avalanche from the wicked jungle! Horrified for the World, Zhukov in a humble request of aid |
Re: Mictlans Second wave,
The turkeys of Mictlan were sent on a special mission to apprehend two heroes of Man who are suspected of possessing various contraband, including Magebane, Virtue, the Aegis, the Tartarian Chains, The Sickle Whose Crop is Pain, Aseftik's Armor, Krupp's Bracers, and other toys that rightfully belong in a museum instead of being hoarded by Man. The lands of Man are vast indeed, that they span two continents, and range from the mountains of the far North to the deserts of the Southwest and Southeast!
Ships are too damned expensive to make, and Mictlan would never dream of disturbing the neutral nations lying between us. So, flying turkeys was the best we could do on short notice. However your heroes were nowhere to be found when we arrived. We were very impressed by the spirited defense your Mother of Avalon mounted against the Earth Elemental that attacked her. Little sprites killed my rock! Her subsequent demise was unfortunate, after such a heroic performance. We will eat some magical jungle mushrooms to contact the spirit world and sing her praises. As for the castle in the mountains, Mictlan advises that you abandon all lands formerly belonging to TC, since they are devoid of peasants and pretty much worthless. With your superb scales, there should be plenty of peasants for your nobles to occupy themselves with in Man's homelands. Please, take the example of Brave Sir Robin to heart, and run away. You will prevent much suffering and bloodshed by doing so. Mictlan |

The Magic of Man
Nations of Forseti, we have some sympathy for Man this month. For there was what can only be described as a cl*st*rf*ck of the most ginormous proportions outside the walls of his beloved castle in the forlorn plains of Tien Chi.
A Shadow Seer of ours was just having a wee bit of a peek around the castle walls, but was caught by patrollers. He had scripted Returning, but Man's army was fierce, and an Air Elemental whacked him before he could get his spell off. How sad for our poor mage. But that is not the end of the story! For one of the patrollers was a Spectral Mage named RotBrother, wearing Boots of Quickness and wielding the Horror Harmonica. And man, did he play that harmonica well! RotBrother summoned Horror after Horror after Horror, only stopping when he was free to flee the battle. Man's patrolling army must have a terrible fear of solo Shadow Seers, for they had conjured up great battle enchantments to resurrect the dead, poison the living, and inflict rigor mortis. Our Shadow Seer lay dead on the field of battle, but now Man had to fight an army of Horrors. Zhukov the immortal false god of Man was shot by his own archers three times, and was banished to his home to recuperate from the shock. The Horrors almost carried the day, but in the end were overwhelmed by undead, as Plaguetongue the Demilich still stood to provide leadership when most of Man's army fled. Such are the great plans of Man unwound by his dabbling in arcane magics which should be left to those with a history of dealing with the perils of blood! Man is not content to rule Nature and Air, but invests his resources in the darkest and most dangerous necromancy. Mictlan |
Re: The Magic of Man
A true sight!
So accurate is the situation report of the Mictlan that we have to congratulate their shadow seer for observing events to come after he's own death! What a miraculous sight have the battle been from the perspective of the dead who rose from the stacks of men falling down to die and to come back again as the undead of men. Many fell and never came back but now the Mictlan might be a little less eager to visit us second time! It's sad that us and horrors our nimble fingered musician summoned din't meet the Mictlan army in the field of the battle and thus we managed only to harm ourselves a bit. We wouldn't have been victorious but we would have seen the Mictlan army badly battered we hoped. Eager to face the mictlan army in fair battle but concerned of the movements of the armies of the Agartha! Shall we face dismissal of our 3-month non-agression pact and thus face a yet another foe? Zhukov |
Man
Though I would very much like to send another round of assassins at Man's commanders who are set to cast/cause a Battle Enchantment then Retreat, can we please find out if Whollaberg can play the next turn?
It probably won't do his nation a whole lot of good to stale two turns in a row. By the way, there were a few more artifacts liberated from the clutches of Man this month. Mictlan urges the world to check your mages to see what wondrous items you can craft this month! |
Re: Man
Staling was one a helluva unfortunate accident, i missed it by hour (the lamaserver was a bit late to install summertime, or something i think.) But i am going to be more carefull next time!
Whollapax |
Re: Man
Yep, that probably wasn't the best turn to stale. But glad to see you're still in the fight!
R'lyeh staled two in a row, but I don't think they are in a war. Does BigAndScary just need more time with his turns? Did his PC die again? |
Re: Man
And interesting month, to say the least. Mictlan is pleased to see Rlyeh has once again waken from their slumber, but we are surprised at the manner of their return. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/shock.gif
Micltans's scouts note that Tartarians have been spotted in the capitol of Man. If the threat Man poses to the free world was not made clear by his Forges, the clear and present danger Man poses is evidenced by his tapping the very roots of evil in Tartarus itself! Mictlan |
Mictlans vain attempts are contested by the R\'lyeh
Yet another nation has joined to feast on the carcass of the Man even thou there is no carcass available yet! R'lyeh's invasion on the dry land was stopped short as their abominations were wiped out of the face of the ground and the remains of their army dived back to deep, into very deepness itself.
Tartarians, no, but Prometheus Yes, Man has called one tartarian, the Prometheus himself. For aeons has the man known the deeds of Prometheus as he is the lightbringer, the one who took the fire from the gods and gave the fire to the man. Now he's fighting for man again! Man is ceasing casting for a while as long as the R'lyeh is allowed to tap and to suck from the very lifeforce of the magic! This trickery surely will alter the balance in the world as the Mictlan is bogged down in vain attempt to damage the man while cowardly running away from the army of man. We are now at war with three nations simultaneously. We would very much like to see this mess end up and evolve into peace as neither one of the three attackers are unable to make their case. Mictlan is fleeing from our army, Jotunheim fled our small taskforce and R'lyehs mighty invasion was repelled by local defence taskforce assigned to patrol some borderprovince. Zhukov |
Man\'s tales
We cannot deny Man's tales, they are true. Mictlan's scout indeed saw a huge Tartarian spirit towering over Man's army! But we did not stop to ask his name, for he wielded fearsome chains, and smelled of fire, brimstone, and death. Is it not wise, to flee from such madness?
One clarification though, we are not cowardly running away! We are, uh ... executing a strategic manoeuvre to reinforce the rearguard of our forces, by rapidly redeploying all units formerly in offensive positions. Mictlan pleads with the neutral nations to join in this battle. Now is the time for action! Will you stand by, and see Mictlan, Jotunheim, and R'lyeh enslaved in the evil iron chains of the corrupted Spirit of Prometheus? Zhukov, the evil Lich overlord of Man, has even turned his own Mothers of Avalon into horrible zombie mages. Your nations may be next! Mictlan |
Re: Man\'s tales
I am becoming uncomfortable sitting between the two juggernauts! Poor poor monkeys; they are gonna have to do something soon. If only we had some score graphs or someway of judging the world climate other than these theatrical stories!
I was waiting to attack the nation who got the upper-hand, but it seems so neutral to me! |
Mictlans outright lies weaven to disable the eyes
Mictlans outright lies have been weaven to disable the eyes and ears of the Bandar Log! (Few of our witches themselves have asked to live forever, and Zhukov only helped them a bit)
Please, we urge, send your monkeys into the world! They will come back and tell you horrifying and true tales from the world they witness! The small monkeys you sent to scry must be followed by larger, club'n'rock'n'steelwielding monkeys with their elephant friends! Their way is open to the rich plains in the east! If the Bandar Log cannot intervene mightly Bloody wrath of Mictlan is going to cower the world! They already control most of the eastern continent. R'lyeh and Jotunheim will be utterly helpless against them as we have witnessed both of these nations big armies get beaten by our seconday troops. Mictlan has amazing numbers of unblessed in the wastes of Tien Chi. They cannot retreat as they would be utterly humilitated if they would not dare to face our army. Micltans rich rear is ripe for taking, be swift and the reward shall be plentyfull! We urge R'lyeh to cease hostilities with us! Jotunheim is going to face Mictlan anyways so we're not bothered by them, but the might rising from the Ocean is targeting wrong nation. We're the only nation holding the Mictlan at bay. Erect be the tower of man! Agartha will be ready to gain it's prize too, Mictlan already borders them in the southeast with their flying gargoyle wielding the horrifying Stonesword turning all but Agarthian stony elders into rocky oblivion! Jotunheim is stubborn as only a giant can be. Luckily for the Agartha, stubborness of the Jotunheim might just soon crack their skull into erect tower of man! Brangwen the Blind One |
Re: Man\'s tales
The popular support is certianly against man. All things being equal count the allies.
|
Re: Man\'s tales
Man accuses Mictlan of telling lies, but then goes on to confirm our tales. So, Man is either lying alongside Mictlan (and we don't like the sound of that!) or Man is spinning his own tales. Mictlan trusts in the intelligence of the other nations, that they may unweave Man's web of deceit.
Quote:
We must mount our own offense on Man's own rear, as he leaves us little choice but to continue our losing fight against him. Mictlan must do what we can to hold off, or at least delay, Zhukov's ascendance to godhood. Release the Moose! Mictlan |
Re: Man\'s tales
Sombody call for moose?!!
|
The Moose
No, Mictlan sent the Moose to kill the Golem of Man, who had overrun a forward position of ours in the North. But the Golem was cunningly prepared for the Moose, and Returned home to avoid being destroyed.
Mictlan has been overrun in the South too, and the castle we had captured from Man is now under siege. We must abandon our second front, for Man has recaptured a majority of the provinces in the burned and lifeless lands where the ghosts of Tien Chi roam. Man has pressed his counterattack to our beachhead on his Eastern shore, and if we lose that, then surely the war is lost. Mictlan fights against the great evil heroes of Man. At their head, Arthur the enormous flying obese Mummy wields the Mage Bane, and slays all who come in his path. But we urge the free nations of the world to not lose sight of hope! As long as the freedom loving world remains stalwart, the forces of evil will fall. Mictlan |
Not The Moose!
Moose spotted,
Schizoanalisis of Micltan might tell more of the analizer than the analysed. We are proud of our stonework that has halted most attacks against the man even if our walls are besieged everywhere. Jotuns roam in the far south with their thick skulls and Agartha besieges our castle by mistake and R'lyeh has launched another sneak attack that was repelled by a local militia in the sout as well. Only Mictlans horrendeus army approaches our rear and capital with nerwing speed. They have massed another army of 500 heads strong into the original landing zone as well and even the Smaug, one hottie for a little bird, has established herself on the ghastly capital of Tien Chi, a nation that had one heck of a misfortune to have had such a murderous idiot as their chief eunuch. Words from Mictlan stating that ther war is lost if they lose the landing site might be a big overestimation of the losing capacity of the vast Mictlan empire sthat spans thousands of miles across the eastern jungles, plains and mountains. We are not going to fall their trickery and release our wolves against the huge army that Micltan holds in defence to ambush any troops that might dare to venture out from our mountain fortification. Thick skulled Jotunheim has brought forward another army but we're prepared! Agartha has not been communicative lately and now their army besieges tower of man. We trust this is a mistake from their part and they only tried to catch the flying gargoyle that pesters us. We are sure that Agartha is a humble nation and is not breaking our non-agression pact as this would humilitate their leader very badly and no word would be spared in making mockery out of an oathbreaker. Only the Bandar Log has remained truly neutral in the confilict of Man and sneakily attacking Mictlan. This is a sad fact that we already doubt that the Agartha might have broken thier oath, but next month will tell if they release their siege and withdraw. We trust that the Bandar Log will see trheir opportunity to gain massive wealth from the east as the armies of Mictlan are already on the Tien Chi shores. This would bring Bandar Log into serious position to compete of the true goodhood that should be the goal of all the mighty and true leaders in this world! Zhukov And we have to clarify one thing to the Mictlan. Arthur of the Camelot is not an obese mummy but a shiny Knight of the Round Table and the King of the Avalon, nothing less (and little bit to the round side too, but not obese!) |
Re: Not The Moose!
Arthur needs to lay off the dust or virgins or whatever it is that mummies eat. Its more like Arthur of the Rotund Table.
|
Re: Not The Moose!
I need cliff notes for this!
Bandar Log is sitting between the two powerhouses, and I am fairly certain if I make a move on either of them, I will be swallowed whole. I am in the stone age compared to these guys. How about I break all of my agreements and just wait for one of them to attack me? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |

Re: Not The Moose!
How many of us smaller, obscure nations are left? We should join forces and rise up out of nowhere and sucker-punch somebody!

Miserable oathbrekers have joined the suicide
Bandar Log,
Your scouting marakattas are somewhat lazy we pressume. Everyone else is trying gangbang the man. We have been sneak attacked by Mictlan, Jotunheim, R'lyeh and this means without declaration of war as we didn't have a non-agression pact. We had a non-agression pact with the Agartha. But now they have cowardly broken their oath without agreed forewarning of three turns. The miserable bastard pretender of this lowly nation will now face the fury of man as the oathbreakers have always been the cum of this world! Mictlan has tartarians, icedevils, djinn, gargoyle and a thousand strong terrible armies runnining wild in the man's land and headed by the Smaug herself they are besieging our fortress that strategically rules the former Tien Chi land, which is now occupied by the Mictlan. Mictlan owns uncotested western continent. R'lyeh is making hordes of gems under all waves of the world. All of Southern continent is divided by the thickskulled giants and miserable oathbreakers the Agartha who's name is hereby cursed to eternity. Such is the disgrace their foolish leaderhip has brought into the very soul of the cavedwellers. Three nations have gathered to make the pretender of Mictlan, the birdie Smaug, the only god who will surely banish those slave minded pretenders who all have defacto allied with überstrong Mictlan and thus are hastening their own downfall. We would like to invite you, Mighty Bandar Log to join in this cataclysmic fight against the Mictlan. We cannot promise you victory as the armies that are splashing against the walls of the erect towers of man are many indeed and mighty is the income of magical gems that our enemies benefit each month. Only the glory resists and our dim hope is your swift and merciless occupation of the eastern provinces that spam the world with unholly and bloody Mictlan hordes. Man will fight 1000 Mictlan blessed troops in the Former Tien Chi land and our own capital! Man will fight against abominations of R'lyeh from under the waves! Man will fight against the Jotuns, whose obelisk Pretender was nearly destroyed if our golem wouldn't accidently had dropped he's head (damn)! Man will fight against the oathbreakers, the cursed nation of Agartha! Let's see if the glory in the letters of the word Bandar Log will burst into flames to write their mark into the Pages of History or will the Bandar Log go gently down, without a fight. Now decide in the name of Glory! Zhukov of the Man |
Re: Miserable oathbrekers have joined the suicide
That is pretty effective rhetoric, and monkeys are easily swayed. I really don't like it when people gang up on a player, even if he is one of the top 2.
The problem is, if I get into a war with Mictlan, it would be against the entire alliance which is against you as well. If they sectioned even a small portion of their forces away from you, to attack me, I would be overwhelmed for certain. Like Agartha, I have no late-game strategy, because I didn't expect to live so long. It is my first time with Bandarlog and I don't really have a cohesive strategy. I put all my research into paths just to test out the unique summons and get a feel for what the Bandar have to offer, but I am without a real battle plan. Helping you may even backfire, as Mictlan would usurp all of my lands and become even more powerful and have more access to you. Either way, I break all my Agreements now, and I will decide which one of you gets to kill me when the agreed turn limit is up. In the meanwhile, I suggest you buy a "Cooking with monkey meat" cookbook, because you will have a lot of of it, and monkey spoils quickly! |
A New hope rises!
We thank you Mighty Bandar Log, for your proud decision and thus salute your hairy hands with the ancient sign of High Fife to show our gratitude,
We will invite thus the Champions of the Monkeys to join the Round Table as Knights of the Chalice! You are invited to join the Holy Quest led by the little bit round but nevertheless shiny knight, the head of the Round Table, King Arthur! The Chalice has to be taken from the demonic hands of the Bloody Mictlan! They have used the Chalice wrongly to poison minds of elder gods already and the poison seeps from the Chalice until it has rightly returned to the hands of the Lady of the Lake who shall use it to heal, not to poison. Don't worry about your frendship to backfire, the times have been dire to men for a long time. Our enemies distill atleast 100 or much more magical gems from the global enchantments alone a month. They gain roughly 200-400 gems from the provinces they own and no one knows how many clams they have forged in their dark hiding places under the waves, rocky caves, and holes in the muddy ground... We have been in defensive against Mictlan for a year and most of their slavepretenders around a half a year but they are getting stronger each month and we doubt that we could last for another year. You have to remember that the only gains of men have been the ravaged lands of self murdering Tien Chi which offered us virtually no income while Mictlan has covered half of the map for years after years and the strenght of Mictlans three slavepretenders is big as well. R'lyeh has concuered most of the ocean including Oceania and Jotunheim and Agartha ganged brave Ulm together after a many years of struggle, two on one. We are not able to count how many nations fell to Mictlan hands in the early days of these wars. Men have had not much but their courage. Now a new hope rises with the forged alliance between the hairy and the less hairy people of the north and west! Perhaps the pretenders subjucated by the Mictlan trickery will see that they are not going to gain anything with war against the man as the Mictlan has been blocking and is still going to block all the possible venues of advance to gain even small pieces of land from the men. Perhaps they will see that foolishnes of supporting the one might that has already musteres a incredible power against the world. Perhaps we can make peace with R'lyeh for we have no interest in what lies beneath the waves. Perhaps we can make peace with the Giants of the Jotunheim, as we respect the stubborness of the thick skull and would not like to harm the giant babies of the Jotun hags in the mountains. We would like to make peace even with the Agartha as we are doubting that they are less educated in the ways of the surface, as they have lived for ages in the darkness with no knowledge of the respectable social behavior and might just be learning. Highfiving, Zhukov |
More tired lies from Man
If Man only had the lands of TC, then how is it that the Giants can battle Man's advances in the southeast, and the Agarthans can reclaim territory that is rightfully theirs in the southwest? Man's vast empire even extends under the waves of the ocean.
And in the Oceans, the Starspawn make their own secret plans. Their actions are as much as mystery to Mictlan as they are to Man. Mictlan gains no benefit from the Nexus R'lyeh has created, other than the hope that Man may curtail his casting and forging. But judging by the volume of rituals falling on our armies, that may not be the case. In the year since Mictlan has established our beachhead, we have only traded the lands of TC back and forth with Man. 700 soldiers of Man guard the strategic great fortess in TC at Rockness Hills, which Man claims Mictlan has under a siege. It is impossible that Bandar could have a spy there, for Man's fierce patrollers prevent any such activity. But any Markata in a bordering province can clearly see the castle is not under siege, and thus are the lies of Man exposed. It is amusing that Man cannot count the number of former conquests of Mictlan, for that number is one. And that fight was brought on only at the urgings of Bandar, who were rightfully wary the reign of terror the centaurs were spreading across the plains. It is Bandar's right to disengage themselves from their diplomatic agreements. But they should know Mictlan has no desire to own the rich lands of Man, as we have told them many times. We only seek to avert the ascendance of the evil Zhukov, who through his Forges has monopolized the Artefacts of the world. Man's words are sweet but poisonous. If our advance fails and Man retains the treasures of the land, and then all will be hard pressed to prevent the ascension of the evil Zhukov. |
An unexpected problem with managing the turn
Due to unfortunate situation with my family i am 90 per cent sure that i will be unable to make my turn this evening.
Perhaps the host could be ably to delay the process for 12-14- hours? I'll pm lamaserver as well. |

Re: An unexpected problem with managing the turn
Yes Now that I have looked at my situation with a lot more experience, I sadly could have done a lot more had I had the general experience. I have the Wizards tower with awesome picks, A good rainbow pretender, and a decent position. The problem is im about 40 turns to late to take advantage of it!
Haha But yes My attacking of man was less about malice and more about the fact sitting in corner waiting to die isnt conductive to anyone. At least by attacking it will be decided soon whatever my fate is too be. At least the Old, Diseased, and dying of Agartha go down like the proud race they are. It is not that we are dishonorable, it is that we have no choice. |
Disaster strikes
The Jaguars and Eagles of Mictlan made a decision that a strong offense would be the best defense against what we expected to be an attack from Bandar. An attack which did not materialize!
Now Mictlan is in the slightly awkward position of having attacked Bandar while simultaneously destroying our army in the failed storming of Man's capitol. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif Onwards and Upwards, I say! At least it can't get any worse, can it? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif |
