I can restart the server tomorrow morning to see if it fixes the problem.

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

It rarely does fix it on Evilzombies server, where this happens a lot. Wish someone knew how to fix it though... it's really, really annoying.

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

I did not have the syncinfo bug when I logged in for this turn. Perhaps it is somehow client related? Or maybe Velusion had already re-started the server.

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

I don't have it now either.

So Velusion either fixed it, or it was my imagination, or it was something to do with my playing too many games at once. WHERE DID MY BANELORD GO?!?!? Oh, that's right, I don't have a banelord in this game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

No restart on my end... must have just gone away.

Re: Fallacy - New Game (Sign-up)

Yeah, it's freaking me out. I just got it in Testament of Blood, where 30 minutes ago I did not get it, and I know Zachariah did not restart the game. This is a really weird bug, and very annoying. I would put this at the top of the bug list.

We, the invincible kingdom of Agartha, declare war on Eriu! Besides that, we ask 50 gold or 5 earth gems of every other kingdom as a tribute for the only true goddess Helena, that will soon break free. All hail Helena!

Is EH still doing the turns for Oceania or is there a new player?

Since I border them and had a 3 turn nap with Oceania i would like to know the name of the new player.

Sure you got the right Eriu? I don't even know where you are on the map.

But fear me anyway! Yes! Fear Eriu's ambiguous might! Our stealthy horsies are right behind you! Or maybe over there. Where? Right HERE! They shall peek into your cupboards, reorganize your desk, steal all your good pens and brush your cat against the grain!

So where are you, exactly, my subtle doctor of diplomacy?

Re: Invisible Kingdom

To Pythium: The only name you have to know is Helena, true goddess of this world.

To Abysia: We declare war on you. When vulcanic eruptions and plagues strike your land, it will dawn upon you what mistake you just made.

To Eriu: Yes, Eriu, Agartha the invisibile, the one that sees all, the one that no one knows, where it lies, the one that knows what you do and where you are. You soon will feel the unmatched might of Agartha the Invincible. Soon the eriuan.. errr erii.. errrr er... your blood will stain your provinces. Perhaps my invisible invincible army is in your cupboard? Or in your desk? Or hide in the fur of your cat? Is that a pen? Or is that the invincible Agarthan army? You soon will know. Tremble in fear!

Re: Invisible Kingdom

Greetings to the world, from the Lizards of the West.

We regret the rash threats emanating from the Agarthan provinces, and apologize on behalf of its leader.

The Agarthan people have always been despondent and despairing, with their tragic civilization crumbling and in collapse, its best days behind it. This particular Agarthan tribe has suffered much as they attempted to break out into the surface world. They were beset upon by the hands of the dread indy light infantry, archers, and dreadest of all, militiamen!

Now that they have finally conquered these vicious foes and freed themselves from their caves, and emerged into the fresh air above, they have smelled the dew on the grass and seen the beauty of the sky, and the knowledge of what they had been missing all these years has driven them completely insane.

Please do not harm our cold-blooded cousins, for they know not what they speak.

(Except maybe that bit about Eriu, that could be for real. Eriu, you'd better do an inventory of your statues, and see if any have walked off recently.)

C'tis

Hmm. Sounds like Agartha declares war on everyone. Good thing we don't even know where the hell you are. We have spider infestations to deal with ourselves.

cupido2 February 22nd, 2008 07:17 AM

Re: Invisible Kingdom

Dear Lord of Ermor

You are wrong, we don't declare war on everyone. Of course our dear ally C'tis, our loyal vassals of Jotunheim and Mictlan and all righteous people that pay their tribute shall not fear the Agarthan steamroller for they will experience a new age of enlightment!

And we would like to assure offically to C'tis, that if Abysia takes any steps against him, Agartha will crush Abysia without mercy and half of Abysia's land shall be C'tis' natural property.

So speaks the Stone Oracle, worshipper of Helena

Btw: We declare war on the spider infestation.

Treachery, treason and backstabbing!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Agartha proudly announces another great victory! The Agarthan army crushed a coward sneakattack of a huge Vanheim army in a blink of eye. The invincible Agarthan militas drove through their ranks in a blood-frenzy while the once haughty Vans helplessy glammered left and right. As we announce this great victory, all of Agartha celebrates and awaits the vanheim envoy to discuss the terms of their surrender.

Ermor is now at war with Pythium. Not our choosing... we were attacked. But we will defend our lands.

Xietor February 27th, 2008 02:47 AM

Re: Treachery, treason and backstabbing!

War? What war? You have a castle under siege that does not belong to you. We tried(unsuccessfully) to liberate it as we are guardians of the peace. Sort of like the United Nations!

Lingchih February 27th, 2008 04:25 AM

Re: Treachery, treason and backstabbing!

Ermor considers that castle to be our lands. And we shall defend it, until we can conquer it. We still do not actively desire war with Pythium. But as long as they try to counter our assault of said castle, we do consider ourselves at war.

Lingchih February 27th, 2008 04:47 AM

Actually, I am just defending against Pythium with Shadow Vestals. I am attacking Machaka, and Pythium just decided to step in and make it a bit harder for me.

And the Vestals have done quite well so far. But then, he hasn't unleashed any Hydras on me yet.

I am willing to exchange 10-15 earth gems for 10-15 nature gems.
I can give a dwarven hammer for 15 nature gems, if you think it's a better deal.
Tell me if you are interested in a quick deal.

The deal is done already.
If someone else want to exchange nature gem for a hammer, I will be able to do that again in a couple of turn.

The almighty Agartha is still waiting for the tribute of all the lower nations.

And we announce another great victory! The mighty army of Eriu was beaten in a fierce fight! They stood no chance against the invincible Agarthan milita, that now roams the lands that the coward Eriu have stolen our vassal Mictlan. All hail Helena. All worship the Statues!

Lingchih March 4th, 2008 07:47 PM

All praise Agartha indeed. We have been waiting for the most opportune time to heap praise upon Helena and the Agarthans. Now please come save us from these Pythium Angels.

I cannot recall this many nations on AI before the 3rd year.
Machaka has staled twice. Since I border machaka, any word if they are being set to ai would be appreciated.

Edit: I am just going to consider machaka on AI since the Velusion rules state if you stale twice in a row with no explanation you will be set to AI.

cupido2 March 5th, 2008 03:51 PM

Re: Treachery, treason and backstabbing!

Have no fear Ermor! This will help:

PHYTIUM! Leave Ermor alone! I command you or you shall be punished by Helena the Almighty Goddess of Agartha!

This will help it. Pythium won't bother you anymore.

Xietor March 5th, 2008 05:00 PM

War?

Pythium was never at war with Ermor to set the record straight. As a lawful nation we were just protecting Machaka's sovereignty. But now that machaka's Pretender has abandoned his lands, all issues have been resolved with our sister Nation.

cupido2 March 6th, 2008 07:28 AM

3.15 patch is out. I had to upgrade to access my turn in another mp game from the llamaserver. But my present turn is already in and was done with 3.14.

When will the server patch?

As an aside, you may want to put mictlan and machaka on ai. they are holding up the host. Obviously if either player had any interest in playing they would have done their turn by now.

Xietor March 6th, 2008 03:23 PM

If you upgrade make sure you do not connect to the server after, until Velusion says it has been patched. Otherwise, if memory serves, you may screw something up.

I think Xietor meant DO NOT connect to the server after you have patched, until Velusion has patched the server.
