as far as i know, your fighting a winning war along with caelum vs ctis and formoria was about to begin aggressions with you this turn.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Ulm has staled six turns in a row. I don't know, since Keithz notified they staled at the beginning of their war, if Ulm played any turn of that conflict at all, but at the current state of things this seems a little unfair.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Unfortunately its almost too late now. Don't know if they have much left to do anything with going by score graphs.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

the players will just have to bring balance back to the game.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Im tired of moving my army one province at a time and truthfully I have been out of the game now for at least 10 turns. Can someone volunteer to take mod duties pls?

I will be turning AI in 2 turns.

I'll be happy to take over if you'd like.

Group,

I'm taking over admin duties on this one. If anyone needs delays etc. PM me or post here.

Cheers!

Thanks.

And I'd like to have 24h turn prolongation...

Game delayed 24 hours.
Cheers!

I delayed hosting 24 hours for a change of email.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Comrades, we've got another problem with stalling:

Acro and Ermor stalled last turn. I'm really concerned about the Acro because I'm not observing the 2h file from it for this turn yet.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Thanks for heads-up. I'll delay 24 hours. (and you are right for concern. THis is on top of an already 24 hour delay).

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

To make things clear, Acro is currently engaged in the war with Hinnom, which already destroyed playerless Ulm.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I agree about Arco. He's too large to let go belly-up. We won't start until we hear from him or get a sub in place.

He was on the forums 2 days ago, so I don't know what the issue is with him.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I PM'ed him. May must be Stale month! At least we are in June now!

mattyburn7 June 2nd, 2012 08:25 AM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I have not heard back from Arco. If I have not heard back by tomorrow I was going to start looking for a sub. Monday to Thursday will be extremely busy for me. I may ask for help in finding a sub/administering the game through that period. If anyone wants to post to start looking for a sub, please feel free. We won't restart until we have a sub for Arco.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I staled intentionally (was busy that night and had already stopped recruiting mages)

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Good news. Kungfoo is going to sub for Arco.

Russian_Comrade June 8th, 2012 12:55 PM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

An interesting fact: the place where Hinnom lost lots of its troops is the same where Lanka lost lost of its troops.

Once again - we held the line. Even with some suicidal sacrifices.

Surely, attacking Great Communist Republic of Tien Chi - which, by the way only did its international duty to protect poor people of Ulm from being eaten alive - is somewhat more entertaining than attacking a leaderless nation.

Glory to the Great Immortal Chairman! Glory to the Red October!

lol...good one Comrade.

Russian_Comrade June 10th, 2012 04:01 PM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

An interesting turn indeed.
So, Acro destroyed more than half of Lanka's forces - using lots of mages, but was massively invaded by Helheim.
Also, Ermor stopped researching for some reason - probably he hit the level 9 in some school.

Kungfoo June 10th, 2012 04:33 PM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

The battle for Arcoscephale was amazing to watch. :D

It was rather rude of Helheim to spring a dozen stealthy ponymen on my farmlands at the same time that Lanka was assaulting my capital; one might almost think they were acting in concert.

You're too generous by far. As your troops were patrolling, we never even made it within sight of the city gates. :hurt:

It may have been rude, but it certainly was not a concerted plan.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Any notice from Ermor? Has many stales in a row, maybe the nation could use a sub.
And we should set Ulm AI, there is no much left of it.

Austen June 16th, 2012 08:01 PM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

A sub for Ermor would be good.

mattyburn7 June 16th, 2012 10:54 PM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I'll post. We can pause game until we find a sub.
I'll also see if I can get someone to turn Ulm AI.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

So, I'm an idiot and didn't get my last turn in on time, but I'm still here and don't expect to be staling again. :D

Russian_Comrade June 18th, 2012 01:31 AM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

Also, I'd like to have 24h extension.

mattyburn7 June 18th, 2012 06:45 AM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

k. 24 hours added on.
Also heads-up to the group. I am going on vacation from 6/22 to 7/1. I'm going to try to get turns in on time, but I may stale and/or delay turns.

Is anyone interested in co-hosting to help me out during this time. I won't really have time to check the boards?

Thanks!

No worries! I'll get you the turn file out in just a bit. I'll delay a bit more. Take as much time as you need.

Anyone else not have their new turn? Seems like it should have been sent out a few hours ago.. have requested resends and not gotten them either..

mattyburn7 June 21st, 2012 10:20 AM

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

It took awhile. I asked for a couple of resends.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]

I haven't been lucky with the resends (didn't get mine either), but I'll give llamaserver some time to breath and wait a little more.

What the hell? I'm getting spy reports on my own armies and provinces. For a second I thought that my troops turned against me.

Dire times indeed.

Fomoria needs nature gems. Our weeping stones can provide water, air, some astral in exchange. Also some forged items on that same areas. If you're interested, let me know,

Is this during a seige? If so, the text is wrong - your spy is actually reporting on the guys in the fort.

Nope. It shown me all of mine armies - even PD - in the way of spy reports. Bug disappeared, but it was funny.

OK, that is excellent :-)

I guess with a user name like Russian_Comrade, maybe the NKVD figured you be interested to know what your minions were up to?

Can I get a 12 H extension? This turns take me longer than my other games and I probably won't get home early tomorrow.
