Although I'm relitively new to the SE:IV forums (Having spent most of my time prior to comming here in the Dungeon Odyssey forum!) I like your Lurk report and give my vote and encouragement to keep it going. I wish you all the best for the holidays, rest easy and recharge your batteries over the next two weeks. Cheers! I always read the Lurk Report, too. It's a great summary of all the important things that are going on with the community and the different mods and discussions. I don't always read all of the threads in the forum, and it's wonderful to see everything in one place, nicely organized with descriptions and links!

mlmbd, I just thought of something,.. what if the 'majority' of people who read this Lurk Report ARE Lurkers? Then by definition, they're not likely to post right? Well, how do you know then that they are NOT reading the report? Hmmm, it sounds like a 'Catch 22' type situation!

I hate to be a spoil sport here, but I rarely read the lurker report.
/me dives under cover as several APBs are fired in his direction. /me sure is glad no one happened to have a Null Space Cannon... /me just realized that he's not on IRC... Usually, I'm too busy trying to keep up with my PBW turns or modding to give these Boards more than a quick overview. And when I am on the Boards, I'm usually more interested in gameplay or modding tips. geoschmo, the LURK REPORT is not done on a popularity bases, how active the thread is (I dont count Posts), good news or bad news or if I think it is important, or not. The thread obviously needs to have some activity within the Last seven days! When I start to prepare the report I just log on and the way the threads sit is the way I report them. I decided to do this so no one could say I was showing favoritism. You want something mentioned, "Post it here". Even it is bad news! Oh, FYI

I forgot to mention but yes I loved the first edition of the PLR. It reminds me of PBW... Well sort of... When you upload your file you have to upload the .plr file.
