David, I'd love to see all the avatars in this thread lined up side by side. Do you have a web page?

Secondly, that page you get the military insignia from refers to the US military... would it be the same for the armed forces of other nations? You might have to re-do half your avatars for international forum-goers http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

..and I don't have a web page, sorry.

Oh, and where is this "Mumbled's Lurk report" I searched through the Shrapnel home page and didn't see it. I also looked in the main index of the intel forums, no luck there either.

Well, Stone Mill.. I spent a bit of time and built this new avatar pic from scratch. The only thing in the pic that isn't original is a reduced image is the barren wasteland for the underlayer. It was kind of fun, like oil painting on the head of a thimble. I really like the final result, the Old mill with its tattered wind catchers and crumbled stone look came off prety well.

So, I won't bore you with the entire explanation, It came the "Smothers Brrothers". Tommy Smothers was always saying to his brother (Dick), "Dicky, Mom Always Loved you best". In there act is was really very funny! So, "mlmbd" is an ajustment of that quote; "Mom Loves Me Best, Dude". Ok so there you have it!
