Yeah, it says 41, mail from llamaserver says 41, but you open 42 in the second one. Deadline changed about an hour with 2nd turn sent. But yes, there is a possibility it will accept first turn 41.

It said the turn was fine when I sent my turn in this morning.

Guys,

The server says we are on turn 41 and the deadline looks correct. The other time I encountered this problem the server actually skipped forwards a turn and so it had to be rolled back. But I think this time it may be fine, since it did not. Let's all send in our turns based on the FIRST turn file we received.

I will still delay the game until I hear back from Llamabeast, unless others have an objection.

Bet the game would look pretty different at turn 41 if we set it back to turn one and replayed to 41 again... interesting thought experiment

Omnirizon could include it in his Stats paper as a case study in stochastic dynamics.

actually, some researchers have suggested online gaming as being an interesting arena of study for reasons exactly like that. It is a simulated environment with enough variable but structuring elements in which every action is, in theory, knowable and that we can with relative ease control.

Maybe the up-and-coming generation of sociologists, who have been exposed to online gaming and are familiar and comfortable with it, will utilize something like that.

So we just waiting on a roll back for the last turn?

Re: New semi-newbie game!

Well, everyone sent in their turns and it hosted, but it sent me (eveyone else?) and staled turn, so I think it will need to be reset when Lllamabeast finds time.

Re: New semi-newbie game!

so i sent in turn 41 this morning and just received turn 43 that indicated a stale turn and disregarded all my turn 42 orders.
