Re: SeaOfInnocence - All ages newb game

This is a bit of a conundrum. While we did agree no more delays or whatever, numahr did get pretty screwed with the summon thing (even if it was ultimately his own fault, lol)...

Has anyone been around when the turn ends to see who's staling? I'm pretty sure EA ermor is... and jomon too? Anyone else?

But if we are going to make exceptions for him, are we going to make exceptions for me in October when I am gone for two weeks? Or for everyone else when they are gone for a week or two at a time? I'd understand if it were Christmas or even Thanksgiving... but you can't just accomodate everyone, as you wind up losing players that way.

EA Ermor is staling... as his neighbor I can tell he stopped building anything a little while ago. Jomon has at least gone to the edge, though I don't share a border with him.

He should try and find a sub or just stale.

OK considering the feedback on my request, let's keep the pace, I will find the time to play my turns.

Hi!

I would like to announce that im stopping playing this game. i have subbed in for a last-stand ermor, then switched to EA caelum to help avoid stales and let myself try them out. I was bored with that nation, and when i finally got to war with them I still havent felt the excitement to play. Since im going to a vacation again, its a good time to stop. thanks for the experience, and much fun to everyone!

I have played my turn.

What is going to happen with Caelum? While I understand that our community is tired of delays, I don't really like the idea of turning Caelum AI at this point. Caelum is not a super power, but appears to be a reasonably strong nation after so many turns of undisturbed build-up - not a case that would normally qualify for AI control. Why not at least try to find a sub for a couple of days before letting Caelum stale or give it to AI?

Perhaps a player who is currently on the edge would like to switch (Admiral, how about it? I don't think you have too much left, and you can see that you only bought a couple of turns at most given what I've got arrayed around your capital)?

I'd be willing to do that, but I'd like to fight to the end as atlantis first.

Re: SeaOfInnocence - All ages newb game

How long do you think you're gonna last as atlantis?

With the way sub threads have been going lately, I think it is unlikely I'll be able to find a sub, and more delays will probably kill this game. I'll probably have to start setting more people to AI, but I guess not caelum. Are there any other nations that have been staling?

Probably a few more turns. There's two forts that he has to capture. I could take over for Caelum now, I wouldn't give myself gems or anything like that.
